Tune hotel is only cheap if you book a few months in advance. The price can be higher than a normal budget hotel if you book during peak season or last minute. I would recommend Cititel Ekspress at Chow Kit. Rate is as low as RM 78 for early booking. Very nice hotel. Clean and neat. Wireless internet access from all rooms. http://www.cititelexpress.com/KL/location.html

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Oct 21 2008, 05:03 AM) I have a question...Which is the best in terms of price and quality between Pacific Regency Hotel and Times Square Hotel? I will vote for Times Square. Why? Times Square Hotel has good location and you only need to walk around Bkt Bintang for food, shopping and other. Pacific Regency located near KL Tower and far from interesting location except tower itself. You need car to go to this place. But if you need hideout location, Pacific Regency is better. Other Than Times square why dont try ParkRoyal ?? I've stayed at Parkroyal's hotel newly reburfished Orchid Club floor rooms.. Quite nice.. Very cozy.. if not mistaken the price was rm390++ .. Well for me i would say the price im paying is quite worthit in term of the club floor staffs services and their friendliness, and also their benefits.. such as Complimentary internet access, 2 laundries and 2 pressings free for /night stay, inclusive breakfast, afternoon snacks, and evening cocktails..good thing is that you can bring one extra friend for the cocktail on the house and drink till u drunk for 1 n half hours starting from 6pm till 7.30 pm.. a staff named Vic there could help u in everything u need.. I even tipped him rm 100.. while im leaving.. find for him.. he could help with everything u need.. trust me everything.. Customer Orientated.

Due to repeated sites asking about cheap hotels and its location, kindly throw all hotel related questions here. thanks. Where to stay if I'm going to Kinabalu Park and Kudat? any hotels to recommend?

I don't think there is any budget hotel around KLCC. The best thing is to stay around petaling street. Plenty of hotels to choose from over there. The Pasar Seni putra lrt station is just nearby for you to get to KLCC.
