try Kencana Inn (i donno if it's still there or not). biggrin.gif

on the other hand, you could always stay at any of the beach resorts, they're just about 8km away from Kota Bharu anyway.

man, those were the days - always play with flood waters and cycling all over Kota Bharu. damn i miss school days. biggrin.gif

Can I include my own hotel/resort website for sharing. No, this is not for room discounts, etc. Just unbiased reviews of the hotel/resort I've stayed at. Did I mention a lot of photos? smile.gif

Independent Reviews of Malaysia's Hotel and Resorts
http://www.malaysiahotelreview.com

I noticed some here got questions on some resort/hotel which I have stayed there before. If you need my own opinion, pls do not hesitate to PM me.

Happy travelling everyone and Merry Xmas!

I'm looking for an affordable(or I should say cheap) motel to live at in KL that can reach bus/lrt/ktm easily.

Read the first page and saw "Tai Ichi Hotel".
Anything beside that?

At least a room that fit 2 person will do. tongue.gif

That hotel just behind/beside Lot Ten quite cheap. Rm138. Or the KL Plaza Long STay apartments also can. Daily rate is about RM178 I think. Federal Hotel also quite cheap RM130.

I like Westin at Rm258.
