... I don't like my EZi... the gearbox doesn't respond very well to my right foot most of the time. And the fuel consumption is definitely more than my friend's Jazz IDSI, a heavier car with an engine 50% bigger. Should've gotten GXi T_T .

Yeah true also smile.gif . But considering my car's weight and engine size compared to him, it's kind of a really big difference, in a bad way =( . And it seems like the auto FC is also a lot more compared to manual, for the fish's case...

Well, if you want your auto tranny to respond to you, there's really no other choice but to knock down and really give it a kick. I have an auto, too and that's just the way it is. sad.gif

As for FC, you're comparing the 1.0l engine with a bigger and more powerful engine. One with IDSI at that. The Kelisa deosn't have all that engine management stuff, of course lar lose. Even the Vios can give better consumption with more power lar.
But remember the price tag man. The Kelisa comes at half the fcuking price. Whatever you save in fuel, you more than bleed for it in purchase price and interest.

@lonewolf,
You gotta be kidding me. I'm getting 14.4km/litre right now. Damn the auto and manual trannies so big difference, ar? *coughs blood*

Yeah I know what you mean, the 1.5 IDSI engine is just ages more advanced than our EJ-DE, not to mention the CVT =( . I'm disappointed that Perodua didn't at least put the DVVT version though, I'm sure that will make a difference for the Kelisa's FC and torque. And it's true the Vios also consumes less fuel than our auto fish.

Then again I think it's not really our engine, it's the auto transmission which is inefficient. See how big the FC differences are with the manual drivers? biggrin.gif

Well if you drive mostly on highways then of course your FC will be lower la...

I mostly drive in city area, thus the low 13km/L =( . Compared to a manual Kelisa also tested in city areas.
