quite grainny
saw ur setting, ISO1600 and exposure 1/400
why use 1600 when u can lowered to like around 800, then the exposure will be like 1/100, still fast enuf for u to capture that person

and the stick is really irritating lol, try to capture from another angle next time icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(bb100 @ Jan 14 2013, 10:12 PM)
I am very the super happy with my Nikon Coolpix P7100 semi-pro/high-end compact camera. Its battery life is amazing, to say the very least. I used it the whole day, from like 12pm to 10pm yesterday for casual photoshots in Mid Valley...and did some in-camera reviewing and editing this morning. The battery shows no sign of reducing! I was utterly surprised by its battery performance.

On top of that, images taken with the P7100 are of DSLR quality. Sharp, bright and good in low light are among the few positives I have in terms of IQ. Speed-wise, I don't see any problem with that. The flash charging time was quite immediate, same goes to the auto focus. Shutter delay was virtually non-existant.

For those who is looking for a backup to their DSLRs or for those amateur photographers turning pro, the Nikon Coolpix P7100 is an absolute must-have.

Hi Guys! new to this thread =) Im using a D7000 ! i'm into street photography.. owning a 50mm f1.8d now.. thinking about changing to 35mm f1.8g, as for street photography... which lens is better and why?

i felt that 50mm doesnt give me enough width.. or i need to learn more with it by standing @ a further distance for shots? thx in advance happy.gif

im using D90 + 50mm 1.8 for my streets photography biggrin.gif

wah nice ! not bad =) but u havta maintain some distance right? with the object.. any limitations using 50mm? cause i feel its too narrow.. or should i adapt to it by shooting from a far distance?
*
for me, not really narrow la this 50mm
u have to get used to it, shoot more with the lens, then u will know the distance with the object
f1.8 is good, fast focus, works good in low light condition
