QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Dec 24 2012, 05:59 PM) Many thanks for the reply sifu, appreciate it! bt once u're into FF, i think u would look into those primes instead..Yeah, typo, should be 18-105mm haha ... but this one is DX lens right? A quick search through the Nikon webpage and I found these, which are sort of within budget @___@: 1. AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED (the one you mentioned right? 2. AF 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF 3. AF-S NIKKOR 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR (I think this is the kit lens) I am not really sure what's the differences between all these, apart from the price lol.. I was wondering whether sifus can give a little bit of comments on these lenses? Thanks thanks cheapo 50mm 1.4, or the 35mm 1.4.. cz those 24-120 n other zoom lens arent as sharp as the primes.. |

QUOTE(hidden830726 @ Dec 24 2012, 09:09 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Rock Seems to be your subject. But too many rocks, dunno which 1 is the superstar. Suggest to use 1 rock as subject and neighboring rock as dancer and the sea as backdrop. Dancing............. Handheld or tripod. If tripod, can make the water.. softer.. Shoot lower maybe. Not gonna comment about focus. The photo makes me curious about the Horizon....and sky.... Still with some post processing, it could still work.. but thats another story. super sifu using leica.. |

by the way, i think tamron 17-50 f/2.8 VC is sharp in the middle, bt very soft at side n corners..
so whenever i see a photo that's sharp, i feel like so delighted! lol.. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 25 2012, 09:40 PM) Unlikely for the corner to be 'blur' due to lens... why? you're on DX sensor... the little area used by DX won't affect that much like FX sensor + FX lens. bt this is DX lens..so will actually get blur like hell d..my lens i noe lar.. bt then i cant really see the picture in larger size, so me myself dno wat problem KS facing.. |
