14mm on FX if you go that near... the model would like she's further way not so near. This looked like crop sensor.

Unless shot with FX but cropped...

hi all,
any uv filter to recommend that help to reduce flare? 62mm size
*
UV filter is another element in front which will introduce more flare. Go commando la if you don't want have any more additional flare introduced.

really?
hahaha...i thought some filter like (Hoya Pro 1 Digital UV Filter) help to reduce lens flare n ghosting.
*
A high quality filter does not 'reduce' flare. It only will introduce lesser flare when compared to low quality UV filters. The moment you add additional element, you introduce flare.

QUOTE(little ice @ Jan 28 2013, 11:25 AM)
have to do HDR, cause the ring is much dimmer than the moon itself. hmm.gif

If you want shadow, go for it. It looks not here not there at the moment. What I would do is go for more harsh shadow instead biggrin.gif

What makes you think a 14mm prime will be cheap when you see that the 24mm is already 6k+?

no need to wonder.
just wait and see what canon does for their 7d mk2  whistling.gif
so most likely, 24mp, 10fps.
*
That's like a D300s replacement instead, flagship crop sensor? But from the trend seems like Nikon dropped the idea...

actually few weeks ago some jap mag posted a rumor of D7200 and D9000.
their D9000 rumor specs was 16mp and 8-10fps, and 35% probability that it will be released this yr.

anyway, looking at canon rumors...
their roadmap says 2 entry lvl and 1 mid lvl DSLR this yr.
the mid lvl one should be 7d mk2, and supposedly middle of this yr launch only...so nikon D400 / D9000 should hopefully be around then too.
*
Somehow I think Nikon would avoid that, why? a 8-10 fps will kill sales from D4 and also their super telephoto lens.

Well based on how Nikon is designing their bodies up to now... D800, D4 example.

for most companies, flagship models are not meant to be best-sellers.
its just a statement for them to show the world that that is what they can do tongue.gif

previously also, D300 and D3 launched almost same time...then later came D700.
and then D300s and D3s again launched almost same time.

but with all the slowdowns recently and stuff thats happened in japan...nikon probably had just enough resources to put out D4 first...and even D4 also was delayed.
*
Let's see how it goes... no more DX pro grade lenses since the D300 time though. D700 did cannibalize D3's sales afterall with the same sensor and AF system and quite similar burst rate.

DX pro grade lineup I think is fine...nothing else it really needs...17-55 is perfectly fine.
while most of the pros who use dx do so for the crop factor...while the fx covers wider stuff.

tho most ppl dont buy bodies for fps...while d600 and d800 still sells alot...
while the ppl who use d4 are very rich or are sponsored by nikon tongue.gif
*
Which is why I think Nikon would not release another cheaper fast FPS body... forcing those who needs high fps to purchase the D4 instead hmm.gif

umm...SB700 comes with bounce card and also a diffuser dome...

But using the bounce card or diffuser dome pointing the flash upwards in day light --> waste of power >_<

Require even more power than day light... unless you plan to kill day light ambient with your SB700 pointed upwards lol.
