Hey guys would like to ask. I've been using d7000 for almost 2years now and just noticed the backfocusing issue... Finally used the focus chart after all this while to verify it...  Since im out of warranty, do I need to pay if I send it to nikon to rectify the problem?

You guys remember this? Here is an update...

After a few e-mails with staffs from Nikon Malaysia, finally they agreed on a one-to-one exchange for the camera only. Well, at least better than sending in the unit for repair and needing to wait for another 3-4 days to get the camera back.

Nikon staffs are quite cooperative in getting this issue sorted out, I would say. However, you need to pressurise them in order to get things done...as usual

Nice~ Thanks pal! But after a short visit to his Facebook page and his Official Website, I can see he only focuses on DSLR accessories. Nothing much for semi-pros.

Actually I am looking for an adapter tube and a wide-angle converter for my Coolpix P7100 but they are no where to be found, except going all the way to China via online order. Stuffs from China can be trusted? I really doubt.

Any peeps know any trusted kakis from e-bay or amazon.com selling camera accessories?

btw, the tube wont help with wide angle converters since u probably will get heavy vignetting.

I was just replaced my old sd card with  sandisc 64gb 95mb/s sd card. I was hope this card will at least allow me to catch up the speed when using high speed continuous capture. But apparently i tested , it only to allow me take 2 / 3 more picture with high speed caption. Then i look up the manual, its says the r in the panel means buffer size for picture allow.. is there anyway to make that size up so i can shoot raw file in continuous

currently i am using nikon d7000... it says it able to rush up to 100 with basic,and i tested it work. just that raw unable to catch up

the good SD cards have write speeds 20mb/s or more, should work fine for JPG and some RAW sizes.

that's why i say "some RAW sizes". definitely not from the D800.

btw how high an ISO to reach 200mb? is it possible to even balloon up to that size?
