Here's more news about the fruit company.

http://www.phonearena.com/news/Judge-Apple...tegrity_id36452

Judge: Apple showed a 'lack of integrity"

.......
Judge Jacob is still angry and on Friday, he said that Apple showed a "lack of integrity" when the company told the judge that it would take two weeks to change the original statement on its website. The judge added that Apple published "false and misleading" statements.

During a November 1st hearing, Lord Justice Longmore told Apple, "We are just amazed that you cannot put the right notice up at the same time as you take the other one down." Jacob added: "I don't believe the instructions you have been given. This is that Apple cannot put something on their own website?"

.....

From one of the comments:

31. MeoCao posted on yesterday, 20:09 13 1

if Apple had integrity:

- they would not file for stupid patents of rectangle with rounded corners
- they would not take their competitors to courts with such petty patents
- they would use standard connectors for their gadgets
- they would not sell a piece of wire for $30
- they would not use "reality distortion field" to mislead customers
- they would apologize when they are wrong and not point their fingers to their victims
....
Only if Apple had integrity!

LOL! Everyone going to give a different answer.

Apex and Nova r similar and i bought nova during the 25c sale. Still prefer Apex though due to adjustable margins.

I strongly recomm either one for those who keep asking abt shortcuts to this and that setting coz Apex provides access to the direct setting.

anyway, i am impressed with the screen and tthe phone. now using nilkin backcase and it looks solid. still learning on android and such, but so far so good.

Just a thought. If you are using an ANCIENT sim for your ANCIENT phone, there is the possibility that you are using a sim NOT compatible with the Note2.
Remember that the celcos have provided updated sims at least twice in the last 10 years, once to 16k, then 32k or 64k to cater for 3G service.

The new sims have upgraded data fields or something, so that may be the reason your old sim cannot be read.
Well if you are using a new sim, then I guess the cut caused some screw up.

you are right that my old sim is not compatible..so had to get a new card from digi centre yesterday..i just hope that when the guy at senq cut my sim, the wiring is not affected. will know later when i go and get the adapter.  smile.gif
*
I suggest you plug your old sim back to your old phone, then bluetooth all contacts over. That should solve your problem.

Move yr cwm backup folders to pc for safekeeping. This will free up some space. Copy back to sd/internal when you need to perform a restore.

Just an observation. After launch, I think we are hitting 20 pages per day, so in 1 week we max 1 thread.

Before launch I think the pace was a bit faster due to all the pent up demand. So let's see the pace over next 4 weeks.

This would make a good statistical exercise.

If the smart dock enable bluetooth/wireless mouse and keyboard then i'll be very interested.. but i don't think it does ;(
*
Bluetooth is a property of the phone, not the dock. All you need to do is pair your BT mouse/kbd with your phone and you're set. The dock will give you the display outputs, and any other USB peripherals you want to connect.

A use case would be to hook up a humongous USB HDD (external power of course) for backing up your phone when connected.

Any help on how to create a folder (to be placed at home screen) to allow one tap access to external card?

Thanks
*
Use Solid Explorer or File Manager (not the default one) and create a shortcut on homescreen. Eg, choose Solid Explorer, it will bring up the folder hierarchy. Then choose the folder you want, then long click "Create shortcut".

Cannot be done with the default filemanager.

Solid Explorer is really slick especially with dual pane view. File Manager has icons that I like since it looks similar to Windows folder icons, but otherwise less feature-rich.

Nah. it's rated USB 2.0 high speed cable.
Maybe problem with the awg ratings.
I've actually purchased another original USB cable online, but due to unforeseen circumstances it was delayed. My thoughts of purchasing a cheap USB cable is to perform experimental comparison between the two. As we all know cheap HDMI v1.4 and expensive ones have no relative difference in signal quality. Furthermore I have plans to dissect the cable and fabricate a charging dock / portable power bank. Yeah, you can say why go through the hassle of making when you can just purchase it out from the shelf? well, some of us are a bit adventurous. Same reason why you like to try out custom rom.

Mind sharing details of yr adventures. I also like diy.

Wow. Your answers really redefine the true meaning of unfriendliness. Reviews from end users of course better than seller and also more authentic lar. I already admit I am a bit lazy to read and thats why muka tebal asking help here as I thought users here will be more than willing to share. Sigh!!!!

Dude, we will HELP and are willing to SHARE.

Not so much SPOONFEED. Try having your kid ask you the same question to which you have answered 20 times...so you tell me/us.
