no no? kept using it to free ram and free cache??
Not advisable?
*
Its redundant. It does not help cos you are not in need of the ram (you got 2gb). On top of that, if it keeps killing frequently use app and you need to restart these apps, so might take longer for the app to start (but with our spec you probably wont notice much), make the cpu work more, etc...

Hmmm... really different since the old O2 mini windows mobile operating time.
*
Totally different OS. Though i really miss it sometimes. Using the spen reminds me of the old WM days. tongue.gif Android is more efficient in its operation. Dun worry about the ram and killing stuff especially with such a high end device like note 2.

if uninstall it how i know which r the app open (working)? how i quit those apps? especially with those ignoring google apps.
*
Use "exit" button if available. Or just back, back, back... or use the samsung task manager to see if anything unneeded is running.

then is it a no no to clear memory from ram manager?
*
Quite frankly i had never use that function at all since S2 till now and never faced any problem. Lets put it this way, if your device is not sluggish of slowed down, why even worry about clearing ram and stuff.

Correct me if I'm wrong, just end the application so that it won't run in the background but to clear the ram and cache is unnecessary because when you launch the next time, it would be instantaneous because it's already in the ram.
*
Some apps have cache processes store in the ram. Technically they are not running. It helps the app start faster when u run it and your phone also uses less processing power.

I think most people use task killer for
1) save battery
2) they like to see alot of free ram for god knows what reason

Now people in group (2) cannot be help much. tongue.gif But those that want to safe battery, quite frankly, these apps or tweaking kernels etc. wont get you much extra juice. In the end of the day, you will be worried about getting not enough juice and battery drain that you may use your device less than you want to.

Come on, you buy a high end device please use it to the fullest and enjoy it. Just get an extra charger for the office or car, or a portable power pack to recharge on the go, or a spare battery. Enjoy the phone, stop checking up on the ram and charge whenever you can. icon_rolleyes.gif

Goodnight.

Causes your device not to sleep and drain battery. Use IntelliCover instead.

How does a guide for Galaxy mini apply for note 2... doh.gif doh.gif
And that cwm is so old. See if you can get into download mode or cwm and flash the correct cwm from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901196

You probably need to do a full wipe as well.

People, I know that there is alot of guide in the Internet (blog, website...) for rooting, cwm, modding, roms, kernels etc. But the problem is u get very little support and almost no user feedback on any problem or issues.

My advice, if u are new to these stuff, PLEASE STICK TO XDA FORUM. You get lots of support, help and feedback there.

yup. I did a full wipe and cache. Unfortunately, my galaxy mini did not detect by odin in download mode. Now, I cant access into my phone. The boot keep looping.
*
I have no experience with galaxy mini. Please search on xda forum. Every phone is different even if they are the same brand.

currently i'm charging the note 2 using my wife iphone adapter plus the note 2 cable. no hissing sound at all. both charger have same input power but note 2 output is 2.0A and iphone is 1.0A. so i guess charging using iphone adapter will take longer hour to complete 100%.

i also noticed that charging using note 2 charger makes the note 2 panas but now using iphone adapter no heat at all.
*
Of cos lar. Less current less heat. How you define hot?

yes, but charge slower
you also can use higher ampere charger to charge your note 2, but maybe harm for the battery unsure.gif
*
Ooohh batteries again. We never stop talking about it. tongue.gif

Well nowadays li batt are smart. They can limit the charging amp to ensure they are protected. Eg. note 2 batt should be max at 2A. So using a bigger charger is not gonna charge it faster as the batt is just gonna take 2A. It should be controlled by the chip in the battery.

Just got my unit, grey colour at senq. The blue strip seal that hold the cover together was already broken, so i said i dont want. But the manager brought me to the cabinet and showed me that all boxes have been opened and explained that they want to inspect and ensure that all items are there. There was a case where their supplier took some accesorries. Do you think this sounds fishy? Anyway, I have checked the imei no and is the same.

baseband version is N7100DXALJ1
build no is JR003C.N7100XXALJ3
so is this the latest one? which one should i see? do i need to update anything?

Then the multi window already dissappear, was there, but duno what did i do, it disappear dy. SOS.

Then i very bad luck. The manager helped to cut my simcard but when inserted, said the phone cannot detect as it is old simcard, not sure if it's he cut wrongly. Anyhow, i had to walk to the next building to digi center to get a new simcard...but damn, my phone no all hilang as it was kept inside my old sim. But my old simcard now already cut into microsim and i dont have adapter for my old phone.....

Added on November 10, 2012, 10:30 pmi am kinda overhelmed by the phone..first time using smartphone..lol

Also, i bring my phone to touch and go card but nothing happen. Do i need to remove my casing?
*
Build no is the ROM version and it looks up to date. Long press back button to activate multi window. You also need to switch on NFC in the settings to use it.
