looks like it was swiftkey 3 that caused the random restarts.

uninstalled it. not much of a loss. summore dun have dedicated row for numbers.
*
I always had swiftkey install but never caused any restart. How u determine it is the cause. Anyway I am also using Samsung keyboard more nowadays.

No one really knows the difference unless its something major. Samsung never releases changelogs.

Actually, if you switch on the Quick Glance option under Settings / Motion, you'd still be switching on the proximity sensor anyways... So for those who already have the Quick Glance option switched on, the Intellicover app should not make the lifespan of the proximity sensor any worse.
*
Quick glance only activate the sensor when screen off. Intellicover is 24/7 non stop.

Guys, is it normal to have the phone battery about 10h 45m with balance 18% battery and have about screen time 4h?
*
I think its ok. Depends on your usage. If the rate is dropping linearly tongue.gif , you should get about 5.5 hrs screen time which is fine for me.

Most of the time, screen is off right? For me, no difference between 24 hours on if on Intellicover vs 20 hours on Quick glance. It's still a lot of hours.
*
Actually what you trying to state cos i really lost your point. Dun remember why we discussing this. rclxub.gif

How is it difficult to follow?  hmm.gif

Original question is if you use Intellicase, you wear out your sensor because it runs 24/7.

I say how is it different if you use Quick Glance? You pointed out only that it only activates when the screen goes to sleep. I mentioned that by estimation, it would be around 20 hours per day the screen is off (maybe more depnding on your personal usage) and that 20 hours and 24 hours is no different as it's still a long time the sensor needs to be on.

So basically if somebody can say they don't mind using Quick Glance, should be no problem to use Intellicase as it's only around 4 or 5 hours more usage of the sensor per day.
*
Someone can say they dun mind using quick glance or intellicase or anything that uses proximity sensor 24/7. But it does NOT change the fact it MIGHT reduce the lifetime of the proximity sensor. If your warranty already end, and u go samsung n say oh its because your quick glance kill it, they dun give a shit either.

Basically i throw this doubt hoping someone with knowledge on this can clear some light on the lifespan of the proximity sensor. Saying the quick glance uses it as well helps nothing. whistling.gif

The speed is nothing much of my concern.
Just feel sayang to lose out the Best Face feature.

By the way, my whole FB albums were synced to my Gallery.. sweat.gif
It takes time every time I open Gallery. Any way to hide these albums?

Actually 6 gb is still alot (at least for me it is). Just dun swap until you really need to.
