Cos you should just leave to android to do it for you. Task manager on play store will only drain your battery more.

You only make your phone work harder to fill in back again all the cache thst you just cleared. More work means use more battery juice.

really? ooh ok, thanks for the info! i'll stop clearing memory from now on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, just end the application so that it won't run in the background but to clear the ram and cache is unnecessary because when you launch the next time, it would be instantaneous because it's already in the ram.

Some apps have cache processes store in the ram. Technically they are not running. It helps the app start faster when u run it and your phone also uses less processing power.

thanks for the info! maybe thats why it feels like my battery keeps lasting shorter and shorter lol.

by the way are there any games which fully utilizes note 2's processing power and graphics? I've seen through some of the common popular ones like Need for speed, but they don't seem up to par with what note 2 can do.

I think most people use task killer for
1) save battery
2) they like to see alot of free ram for god knows what reason

Now people in group (2) cannot be help much. tongue.gif But those that want to safe battery, quite frankly, these apps or tweaking kernels etc. wont get you much extra juice. In the end of the day, you will be worried about getting not enough juice and battery drain that you may use your device less than you want to.

Come on, you buy a high end device please use it to the fullest and enjoy it. Just get an extra charger for the office or car, or a portable power pack to recharge on the go, or a spare battery. Enjoy the phone, stop checking up on the ram and charge whenever you can. icon_rolleyes.gif

Goodnight.

Noob question here...
Say if I press home button to exit my chrome to access other thing, then the only way to get back to chrome is to long press the home button again to come to the recent list?

Any good article for Android hidden shortcut?
Just want to minimize my usage of my home button..

Tq!
