i noticed that the headlight size stated on the 1st page of this tered is h11b.. i checked, and recheked the bulb on my forte and it seems definate its h7. i was thinking of changing to other bulbs (xtreme vision or nightbreaker) just want to reconfirm again with u guys who had changed theirs, which one is the correct size? forte sx, 2012.

I hv one question, do I need to use the connector that kia provided to listen my iphone songs? But seems i get a connector that doesnt actually suits my HU..so i use my own iphone cable and i tried to open up music in HU but god damn couldnt play any songs from my phone thru HU.

Probably will get back to the SC to change the connector..but is there other way to solve this problem?

BTW, considering to install alarm wth sensor /DRL/Locktech..etc.Checked wth my SA and NAZA hotline, both asked me to go to NZ Galaxy but realize their price is higher than others.Noticed many forumer went to 3rd party shop n get it done.Any issue wth warranty void so far due to wiring..etc?
Also there is one Naza approved accessories shop in Segambut listed in our service booklet..anyone been there before? thanks guys..

Can anyone share some info regarding the price range for UV + Security tinting?
I understand that there are many types of tinting/security film in the market, but can someone share their real-life experience(s) with these?

My budget is about RM1500 for tinting, but when I got to the tint shop, I was told that UV+Security film tinting would cost RM2300 at a minimum. At that price range (RM2300), I also won't get a good brand tint film.

Any opinion/advice/ideas people? I'd appreciate them, thank you!

Side question: Anybody has a clue on how much is the cost to tint a Forte with 'Huper Optik' brand UV film?

Any1 here used agard tint?can write review?coz edwin suggested to use agard 5mil tint which is 1.8k..

Actually i dont have any voucher..i ask him to help tint my car with 3m crystalyn series which is 1.8k..then he said agard much better with security 5 mil and irr is 95 which same price with 3m i requested..

after following this thread for a while, is it true that these are the common issues with forte (even if it's a brand new)
1. rattling sound coming from dashboard if driving > 100km/j - i don't have this issue. which I'm surprise lotta ppl has it? Or maybe a few not sure.
2. weird sound from front door (either right or left) - nop.. none.
3. knocking sound if driving slowly while air-cond is in used - nop none.. but i never see anyone complain in this forum also.. ada ka?
4. standard tyre can't be 'harap'ed too much (noisy and bad grip) - obviously la.. Cheapest tyre for 17" range.. i change it to 15" using c-drive 2 solve my problem
5. front head light will get condensation after rain or wash etc - first few days yup.. After that to my surprise i don't have this issue anymore so far. Maybe my sealant and wax wax skill powderful liao can prevent condensation... lol just joking but not happening anymore.

other than that are
1. some SC are lousy - yup i believe so.. one of my buddy complain about setapak SC... one colleague who complained bout Red Cube for his first service.. As for me.. i went to glenmarie SC near VW, PRoton and Perodua one.. was fast and a breeze.. 8.15 reach.. wait they open @ 8.30.. by then 6 cars there ady. I no make appointment summore just go there only... 9.15 i drove home.
2. spare parts are not cheap - no idea man.. All forte should be still within warranty ma.
3. fuel consumption is high but still acceptable - so far best clocked is RM79 @ 460km.. for a C segment car it's quite good.. about the same with other C segments.
4. underpowered for 1.6? - ain't that bad but for me.. I'm jumping from Savvy > Forte so basically any car with higher horse power is good for me.

Bro if you get the rim do let me know where you found it. I might want to go change light weight also. Now my 15" weight 6.7kg. I can't image if it's below 5kg.. Must be damn superb acceleration. hahahaha

Hi Dankers, you have/are using HuperOptik tint for your current ride? Is this UV or UV+Security tint? May I ask for your personal opinion on the performace of the tint film?
Also, it'd be great if you could also share how much it costs you for.
