I just bought a Forte 1.6 EX from Ks Loh (Buydirect) and here is my complimentary on him. I would say his offer is much desirable compared with other SA. As a first timer to purchase a car, Mr loh has been very friendly which guided me through with proper procedures and able to response all my questions. He also able to compromised with my timing and his customer service is fully satisfied.
I'm enjoying my car every moment. Looking forward for the first service!

My car loan is approved within 2 days after I submitted my documents. Got my car within a week with good interest rate.

Just sad I couldn't get my favourite top 5 number plate number as it is based on luck.

If anyone want to buy Kia, Ks loh is whom you should be looking for. Good luck Mr. loh on your upcoming sales.

Cheerios! thumbup.gif

I want to ask, anyone here 1st time buying car? May I know how much is your annual insurance payment? I was charged RM2200 per annum without front wind screen.. Some of my frens drove vios which similar to that pricing of forte, their annual insurance payment only less than RM2k for 1st timer..

Can anyone clarify this? unsure.gif

normally insurance payment is based on sum insured. If your frens vios insurance is cheaper then the sum insured must be lower than your forte. you need to double check with your frens insurance policy and details.
This is from what i understand lah. haha

insure lower value then u pay lower premium, if you want to pay lower tell your agent next time.

however, there is a limit between highest and lowest to insure.

if your friend have ncd, they can get discount up to 55%.
*
Actually for 1st timer without NCD, is compulsory to pay at much higher price as I was told.. Each year you need to accumulate your NCD by don't accident your car so discount will be given once u gain your NCD..

How they judge premium and non premium? I thought insurance are all standard pricing? Vios is also around that price but the annual payment wouldn't be that much different? Mine around Rm2.2k and his around RM1.5k or maybe less..

I didnt ask much on his insurance policies and details but it should be all the same basic insurance policy right? unsure.gif

Any 1st timer purchasing a kia forte here without NCD before?

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Jan 8 2013, 03:47 PM)
Insurance premium is calculated firstly based on your cc

For 1400 cc and below , first RM1000 sum insured, premium is RM237.35
For 1650 cc and below , first RM1000 sum insured, premium is RM265.00

Every subsequent RM1000 sum insured, the premium is RM26.

As such for Forte 1.6SX, for sum insured RM82,000 :
First 1000 =  RM265
Subsequent RM81000  = 81 X RM26 = RM2,106
Hence total = RM2371
Add stamp duty RM 10
Grand total = RM2381.00

Thanks KS for the clarification.. At least now I have a piece of mind.. Best after sales service ever! thumbup.gif

My car is reaching its first 1000km and ready for my first service.. How do I make an appointment and what do I need to bring?

Guys,

May I know what is this? Is this the coolant fluid radiator to cool the radiator? Can we fill up with tap water or do we need special colored coolant fluid? unsure.gif

I believe it is water for your viper.
The cap should have written/drawn something related to what it is for.
Double check and see.

Water refill for wiper is the blue cap.. This is beside the radiator.. Not sure is it a coolant fluid for the radiator.. Anyone can clarify this? notworthy.gif

It's the radiator coolant.. What's your mileage? Nitmally just add tap water like in SC.. No problem... If you got money and time to spend, drain out everything den buy a coolant and dilute with boiled filtered water tongue.gif ( if hardworking to boil and cool down) lol!
*
Ohhh.. My mileage now is 900km.. I heard add tap water not good for long run as it will spoilt the radiator.. But is this what usually people do?

How do we drain out everything? Used it till empty?

Shop dont sell ready made coolant where can just pour in? Need dilute wit boiled water mixed and pour inside? unsure.gif

actually our car dont really need boild water as our car wont get infected by bacteria, not like us hamans.
However, our car need filtered water to filter off minerals and unwanted substance which may block the radiator and cause rust.
*
Do you means distilled water is usable? Current when open my radiator, saw some green color liquid coolant.. So how do i refill it, just pour water in the radiator or to the coolant compound?

Any expert can clarify this?

If got extra money to spend, drain everything at a workshop loo, but I suggest u just add boiled (cooled) water. But actually adding tap water is OK.. Cuz coolants have rust/corrosion inhibitors.. But at 900km, how coolant level seems very low.. Got leak?
*
So do we pour water into the coolant container or from the metal cap on the radiator?

So complicated, I guess just pour normal drinking water will do.. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the clarification smile.gif
