I was checking out this FL 50mm f1.4 and Rokkor 58mm f1.4.Although I love the extra reach of Rokkor but rendering from Canon is a lot more contrasty.Bokeh also creamier.Hope to shoot some shots with it soon.

Printing is a subject on it's own that not just a simple matter of pressing print button. Colour profile and calibration needed to be done to gain consistent result if developing on shop you need to know which one to go that willing to do it properly. There's one in TTDI and another in uptown which are ok but need to create a rapport with them so they print it to your specific demand. Also cost a bit more than your average.
For myself I usually do it at proper printing house that does proofing for artwork because of work related relationship. |

New sigma e-mount/m43 lens.60, 30 & 19.All f2.8.Odd they didn't made the 60mm a macro to compete with Olympus or Zeiss.Think it won't be cheap as they are under their Art series which seems to be on the high priced and better optics end.So will Tamron come out with new e-mount lens as well since Sony owned some shares in it.

![]() ![]() ![]() Been using sigma 30mm for my street shoot. I'm not much of a measurebator who are obssesed with mtf chart result or pixel peeping. From user experience standpoint it's a small lens that gives sharp result if you are not particular about creamy bokeh. Focus speed a little behind kit-lens and color renderings a little less vibrant to my liking. Overall a lot of people is put off by it's not that wide aperture as for the sake of comparison to nifty fifty. Like anything in photography you trade off the f1.8 with a good sharp lens and yet small size. The rattling of lens didn't bother me that much but a wider focus throw will be ideal for video as now it's a bit too short for follow focus. If low light photography is your thing better get the 35mm f1.8 or legacy fast lens. Hope some reviewer do a comparison between sel20mm vs sigma19mm soon as I need the focal length for my street shuttering. Although the cost difference is quite big between the two but size of the lens is another main decision to consider when comes to street photography IMO. QUOTE(darrez @ Feb 6 2013, 03:15 PM) Hi all, planning to buy the NEX-6L. from their website there's a promotion during cny which is Rm3299 + case&memory card and PWP RM599 for the essential kits n macro lens... Saw someone selling 2799 with kit in garage sale and can purchase macro separately from zaloon that has the lens on promo for 590.is there any shop selling cheaper than the RM3299+599? |

QUOTE(aleyna58 @ Feb 19 2013, 11:10 AM) I'm planning to buy Nex 5 but i have questions here. if you guys don't mind to answer [COLOR=blue]1) Do we need to buy different adapter for different type/model of lens? Only to specific brand of your lens choice.the cheap one will let you shoot wide open, some came with lever to let you adjust aperture and the more costlier has electronic coupling or full auto chip. 2) Is it true the camera will lost the autofocus once we "install" the adapter? Yes unless the type that came with AF chip. 3) Does it mean that the autofocus will permanently lost? Only when you are not using SEL unless adapter with AF function. Sorry for the noob Q. Before this i'm using p&s camera. Just want to upgrade to the better type of camera. |

QUOTE(sukhri @ Mar 12 2013, 10:40 PM) From user experience, 35mm more mileage with leg zooming while 50mm can be tight but good if portrait is your choice of poison. 35mm gain a stop or two stabilization over shutter speed and slightly wider focus spread when full open. Optic wise I'll leave it to those review site as not much of a measurebator myself. |
