Technically, using a adapter increases crop factor right? Correct me if i'm wrong, still newbie

a NORMAL adapter is basically just a tool to connect ur Nex E mount camera to third-party brand mount lens(with no additional features, it disable all electrical-related feature from the camera to the lens like autofocus, aperture settings)

there are adapter that come with add-on features like autofocus for third-party lens & aperture settings.

recently, there is one with reduce focal length & increase maximum aperture. (The Metabones Speed Booster - which makes our NEX camera to act similar to a FULLFRAME camera focal length & better control of our aperture)

I'm looking for a one-lens solution. But SEL24F18Z & SEL35F18 is over my budget. Sigma 30mm f2.8 & 19mm f2.8 sales are over...

So, I'm getting the Sigma 28mm f/2.8 macro legacy lens in ebay, around RM200~300

I'm aware of the various mounts. Just curious which mount did you choose. I myself am looking for another f1.4 or f1.2 ( I wish ). Eyeing on Super Takumar SMC 50mm m42, that or another Rokkor 50mm or 58mm.

I gotten my fix from eBay. cool2.gif Mainly Rokkors. These lens really perform well enough considering how cheap they are.

My collection so far.

Rokkor 50mm 3.5 Macro + 1:1 extension,
Rokkor 58mm 1.4,

M39 ( considering letting these go )
Leica Industar 26m 52mm 2.8
Leica Industar 61LD 53mm 2.8

On lookout for these. If anyone knows another source other than eBay please let me know.
