guys, how's ur battery life? mine's pretty dismal, from 100% to 30% takes only about 8 hours when i check the battery stats, top is always Android System... screen usage is about 2 hours+. i've upgraded to jellybean yesterday. my old razr wasn't this bad (could last me about 16-18 hours with similar usage pattern).

Since last week ive seen 3 user selling their 2nd hand O4X in Garage Sales...
Today i saw only 2 persons left...Actually ive been hunting another O4X for my elder brother too
I think G2 will be coming in the end of this year right? At that time, G Pro price go down, thats the time i came in

Im more to " forgotten " phone model...Like now people hunting for G Pro and G, im using O4X, same like in future

No one going for custom rom/kernels..? Stock kernel kinda sucks though...But stock JB rom still lovely...

Ive tried CM10.1 Official, but too bad im not a CM fan so it does not suits me...
Currently now choosing between JellyBeer or Unofficial AOKP fresh built rom...
Right now using Iodak's kernel...

My budget is around rm900, that's why this phone and most of sony xperia dual core (V,T,S etc) phone meet my requirement.

I'm currently using an old single core 1Ghz xperia phone, bought about a year ago, but after upgraded to ICS few months ago, I know I need to start looking for a new phone soon. Because of this, I'm a bit scare of choosing dual core xperia phone as my next upgrade, it may work fine in ICS and JB now, but not sure after 1 year will face the sane fate as my current phone now.
Therefore base on spec wise, O4X should suit well, but concern is on the known stability, smoothness, heat issues etc as discuss widely from the users.

OK, let say if I really choose O4X, should I maintain it at ICS,  straightly upgrade to JB or straightly go to custom rom (base on my criteria stated earlier) ?

Thats a big no...Tegra 3 chipset is the best battery saving core in the market...This battery drain issue happens due to sluggish LG stock kernel....Im currently using Custom Kernel and this problem seems to be handled quite allrite
That should do it....But i'd prefer custom rom, AOKP rocks!

Yep im using Iodak v06 right now...From my experience after a month of using iodak, no more baseband_xmm_wakelock issue...My phone can last for 20Hrs with 2 hour of screen time..Mostly on whatsapp and facebook...Stock rom of course...

DirectD store in subang also got....But quite expensive...Ive bought mine from mudah.com.my...RM12

Ive tested 3 roms already, JellyBeer, Revolt JB, Zaiben...All are CM10 based...
Until now i still prefer RevoltJB due to performance, battery life, UI customization...
But still all those CM10 based rom perform good with Optimus Prime kernel....
I dont like pure CM10

That would be a year or more...As Optimus G/G Pro is quite a famous and chosen phone among monster users...
