For new myvi user, please take note. The petrol tank of our car originally look like dented as shown in pic. Don't replaced it. I conned by sa and it cost me 375 including labor fees. Lesson learnt.
*
Lol which SC & SA is that? Dare to conned our sifu here! Announce loud-loud to us all & we kasi blacklist lah mad.gif

Bukit raja service center. The sa name is mr kamarol. I guess the sa nvr really go kaji the petrol tank and thought mine really dented because of my mistake. Expensive lesson.
*
Mmmm probably this SA could be a junior or noob, anyhow also, if he's lacked of knowledge he can consult his senior buddies first - very wrong he's... but, can you like going back to the SC & file a complaint? blush.gif

hi all. just got the 1.3se, and having problem with the bluetooth pairing. from what i read it's either a smooth pairing or frustration.

i had previously paired the phone to another myvi on iphone 5, and the profile name is the same. tried to 'forget device' but it stays there, and i suspect it is the cause of not pairing to a new car.

have anyone tried pairing the iphone to different myvi?
*
That bad yeah for such modern gadget installed hmm.gif Me on an oldskool 90s HU also can BT paired with my hp with ease brows.gif

Dear all,

Notice out that Myvi sound system a lil bit disappointing. Any way to improve the sound quality with affordable budget, say around 500 plus?
*
Well, with yr budget (still have balance in return brows.gif ) perhaps by replacing them all with affordable coaxial speakers system will justify you some degree of better sound geh tongue.gif

guys, my service is coming soon. now, reaching 20k km already. last i service was 10k. i checked p2 website and it is almost rm 400 for 20k service. is it necessary? usually for 20k km service, what parts do you guys change?

and

i dont know why my car rear right wheel always hitted the fender. especially when caring full load. doesnt matter whether heaviest person sat on right or left, still the right rear wheel will hit the fender.

i am newbie in this. usually my dad serviced the car for me as i rarely stayed at home but he passed away 6 months ago. this is my first time servicing the car.
*
1st of all, sorry to hear that. However, take heart bro for you're now being the rightful guardian of yr Vivi yeah thumbup.gif As yrs is a new car still, so during yr next service just relate the rear fender problem to SC & let them run some tests lor to figure out what's & why is the rear hitting like that judging that yrs is everything stock condition...

thanks for that. but im still wonder what is the item that is needed to be change during 20k km service? preferable, i would like to do outside. and no, my myvi is not stock anymore. i changed to GAB SS and 16'" wheel. when using stock rim with GAB SS, this fender hitting problem didnt happen. just after i changed the rim when fully loaded, it will hit the fender. i heard this is some sort of manufacturer defect for myvi. im not sure.
*
Oh then you probably need to visit back yr regurlar tire shop if you have one & ask them to check out yr 16" rim offset ada betul ke atau tidak lor, plus need to see whether any adjustment is needed to yr GAB SS too, as all these aftermarket changes does make your headache you're facing now lor!

Yrs is a new car right, still under warranty, why intend to go outside to service woh? Changes to tires & rims are quite a norm nowadays hihi

hey guys I just got a 2nd hand Myvi... here's the detail

Variant: 1.3 Standard

Transmission: Manual

Colour: Gold

Player Type: Non-Multimedia (Non-TouchScreen)

I just got this car which registered at 2008 June, now the mileage is around 144k
Can any sifu here suggest what part I need to service first? the previous owner doesn't seems to taking good care with the car... please advise!

Anyway, today I saw Fully Syn engine oil in Tesco selling at RM139/4L Castrol Edge 0w-40 and Mobil 1 0w40
Kindly advise if this oil suitable for Myvi engine? what is the most suitable viscosity for this car engine?
*
Go do a "full" service with timing belt as your priority most importantly for any used car purchased yeah, then do ask your mechanic to thorough check here&there lor sweat.gif Well, is just a Myvi, a semi-synthetic oil based will do bro (at least to me lah tongue.gif )

actually when you take booking for 2nd hand car, you can request them to do "full" repair for the car. if they refuse you can just leave and seek for another dealer that may got a better conditioned car and willingly to do "full" repair.  rclxm9.gif  brows.gif
btw, 144k km on the odometer is sibeh high already....  rclxub.gif

Correct me if I'm wrong but Myvi 1.3 do not have timing belt but uses a timing chain instead. The service of timing chain however I'm not to sure about coz my car already 130k km and no issue with timing chain.

I suggest check for this in your car :

PROIRITY (PERFORMANCE)
1. Engine oil service (do flushing-semi synthetic sufficient)
2. Gear oil
3. Air filter ('Drop-in' for more power)
4. Spark plugs (Denso Iridium for more power)
5. Fluids (radiator/brake/power steering)
6. Check disc rotor for warping (I replace use Shoji brand slotted rotors (RM200) - coz after 60k, sure got warping)
7. Brake pads (also check brake hose)
8. Check battery and alternator (for weakness)

COMFORT/ HANDLING
1. Absorber (especially rear coz it gets very soft)
2. Absorber mounting
3. Springs
4. Wheel (allignment/chamber/balancing)
5. Caliper pin (with O-ring)
6. Air-cond (refill gas, check compressor)

I may have left out a few things, but this is what I would check for...Can anyone add on anything i left out please  hmm.gif

Please spread the good ICE news for Vivi owners for some wisely spending as with a good ICE setup all KV traffic jam & intense heat headache & frustration would be disappeared upon those gravy & groovy beats kicking in cool.gif for instance a merely A to B point grocery journey would have become a A to C then D with only ending up at B due to some irresistible good music sounding from our daily market leisure drive! rclxms.gif
