your 14060 is in pristine condition~!  rclxms.gif btw i read up about sd, the only rolex model that doesn't have a cyclops is quite interesting
*
yes bro, thats ultimate toolwatch by rolex thumbup.gif

@sniper on the roof, I like the SM300 also.
Why don't consider the modern interpretation? Pre-loved Omega Seamaster 2254.50?

but a lot seems to say that the sd sits higher on the wrist due to it being head heavy compared to the sub. What say you?  biggrin.gif and it's a little thicker compared to sub right? although not as thick as the new dssd.
*
Yes, thicker and heavier than Sub. I find it ok.
New DDSD? No No doh.gif sweat.gif

btw the lume on the sd is the brighter even compared to the latest 114060 sub?
*
Not sure which is brighter but SD is green lume, whereas 114060 is blue.

Dunno, something not quite right about the 2254's bezel. Why oh why Omega couldn't stick to one design language and evolve from there.
Rolex lume not as power as Omega or Seiko for that matter.
*
Maybe just me, I prefer 2254 than POs sweat.gif

I've just inherited a Cartier Santos from my dad (hes still alive btw tongue.gif). The problem with the watch is that the second ticks a little bit faster than usual. Does anyone know how much it would cost to get this fixed?
*
Firstly, congrats.
Can you explain 'ticks a little bit faster', you mean the time keeping is not accurate?
The Santos is quartz or mechanical?

Yes, the time keeping is not accurate, every time I check (lets say every hour) the time will be 5 minutes ahead from my other watches, is this fixable?
Its a mechanical watch by the way smile.gif
*
Yes, just bring to the service center.

Hi, want ask a noob question. If I buy a watch online and shipped in from oversea countries, do I need to pay for any tax/duty when it enters Malaysia? Will the Customs department withheld my package?

Thanks.
*
Watches are tax free.

How much was the damage, how long was the duration and what exactly did they do at the spa?

Apologise if these questions were raised earlier - I've not been following this thread for awhile now tongue.gif

hmm.. so in my price point.. Should i be getting a quartz or an automatic..? i have a normal digital Casio watch which i've already worn for near 4-5 years [battery quoted to last 10 years]. Its still running good.. Been thinking about getting one for casual with leather strap. Probably analogue one. I've googled up Ingersoll, Bulova, Kenneth Cole. Is there any other good brands out there that sells within 300-600 price point..? bang for buck.. laugh.gif that looks like a little luxury feel and adult at the same time..

i wanted to avoid Casio brand at least..  thumbup.gif

Get a quartz if accuracy is your main concern. No need to wind and maintenance usually cheaper, just change battery if dead.
Get an automatic watch if you appreciate the sweeping second hand and mechanical movement.
Seiko suit your budget very well.
