im abit sad for my akatsuki
when i try to make the parts smooth..i accidently cut until see the inside (black color)
coz i used a knife to cut off those left overs from the parts
u could try using a side cutter plier or an emery board to smooth out those left over edges...

guys, i just bought a mg 1/100 freedom. so i was wondering is there any important things that i need to take note b4 start to build it up? im a newbie in this kinda stuff........ n any1 can recommend me wat type coloring to apply on freedom?
*
i just completed my MG 1/100 freedom a couple of weeks ago.

first u need to get some tools. a side cutter, knife, cutting board , scissors.

secondly paint. since i did not bother to paint my freedom, i just bought a Tamiya TS-65 Pearl Clear Spray paint. I sprayed da plastic parts (while still attached to da square templates) front n back a couple of layers n leave it to dry overnite. next u need to get a gundam marker to mark out da lines. Do remember if u plan to spray da clear coat over da model, be sure to spray before u mark da linings of da model. if not, if u spray after marking da lines, da lines will bloat thanks to da alcohol n chemical in spray paint. i really like da pearl effect. if not u can always get da tamiya TS-13 Clear paint.

like the one in the picture?
hmm, i mean usually the front big wing n it's minor n then the back big wing n it's minor n the center small wing at the bottom

i c wat u mean. if i were to do that wing position, da cannons would clash wif da head.

thats da best i can do i think.

lol that is High Gradet..not non grade..now SF and IJ is around S$40 if u noe where to buy lol
*
If its high grade they would have marked it out clearly on the box right? HG, HGUC, MG or even PG can be seen clearly on da box of their respective grades.

Da Gundam Seed/SD lineup of 1/100 is called Non Grade. (Does not imply that da quality is lower than HG, quality and skill level required is similar to HG just that its not called HG)

Any NG 1/100 that's worth buying???

IMHO IJ and Legend is a good buy.

1/100 Destiny doesnt have that colloid wings. i wouldnt recommend that. however 1/144 HG has that wings.

Im waiting for the 1/100 "Pimp mobile" Akatsuki thumbup.gif
