More milking tongue.gif MG Strike is a very nicely made model, and now with the popular IWSP, more $$ will be rolling in for BANDAI.

But the Amatu.... is it an add-on or a brand new model?
*
I think the MG Strik IWSP will be the original MG Strike + the IWSP backpack only
so don't think will have improvement on the Strike itself shakehead.gif

If you like Amatsu
then it's worth to buy it
since there's no other Amatsu in the market now biggrin.gif

I personally won't buy it because I don't buy gold plated models
firstly it's more expensive compare to others
secondly it will leave some ugly cut marks after u cut it from the runners

Gundam model kits fans are from kids until adults
1/60 models without inner frame is to cut cost
so that the price of the model won't be nearly as same as PG kits

Modellers which want to build a fixed pose Gundam models
will be happy to see a cheaper ver. of 1/60 which is not as expensive as PG kits

oh ya, I remember getting a Tamiya metallic blue spray before. Should be the same quality metallic color as the extra finish laugh.gif
*
If you want it to be more *bling* *bling*
you can mix the metallic silver color paint with the clear color paint
for example if you want red metallic color
just mix clear red with metallic silver

Strike Rouge (4k yen) is more expensive than Strike (3.8k yen)
it's due to the reason MG Strike Rouge has Kagari figure

I would suggest Strike since it's cheaper & has a good looking launching pad (compare to Freedom)

I like Strike more, even though I don't like both haha tongue.gif

Yes the stand is a bit turn off, when you consider the Strike which is the same price provides the launchpad...

Or you can twist and bend a clothes hanger laugh.gif

Or try out other MGs... Besides my biased view on the MKII Titans, maybe can get a MKII AEUG? Ok I'm still biased twds the MKII.... Zeta ver2.0 is superbly nice...

Ah hell... get a giant Sazabi....
*
Haha... I'm not GS/GSD fans too
but Strike's design quite good
so I get the MG Strike & it's a nice kit

I would suggest MG Nemo for a good kit with cheap price laugh.gif

It has been like that for quite some time
the downside is lack of variety

The retail price set by the LT is too ridiculous
so at the end all shops can't have much sales on Gundam kits
now GT has lowered the price & their Gundam sales much more better than last time
although they earn less
earn less is better than earn nothing

YenS:
1) sandpaper> painting with acrylic paint> top coat > panel lining.
Top coat will dissolve the panel line paint, so at the end will make the panel line like "eat into" the paint

2) "my problem is that the paint kinda fills up the gaps for panel lines."
You can use the blade or knife to carve the panel line become deeper before you paint it

3) "and another thing is that the paint dries really fast, and i really dread the appearance of stroke lines."
Did you dilute your paint with water ?? You've to pour the paint out into another empty bottle & dilute it. Then you've to test brush the paint on a piece of white paper or other paper. If you feel it's not smooth while painting, then dilute the paint until you feel smooth to paint it

MG F91 is not a remake
no MG F91 was released in the past

the MG F90 that you've saw in the magazine is a display model
it's not an official MG model that will be release soon
but since there's a prototype for MG F90 already
so it's possible to have MG F90
just don't know when

Another way to cover the plastic color is by using the primer
it's a kind of liquid putty which can help to cover the original plastic color too

MG Nemo is a good buy
it has the articulation which is similiar to Mk. II ver 2.0
but the price is much more lower (2,800 yen ~ RM 93)

The cons of MG Nemo (compare to Mk. II 2.0) are
1) not a Gundam (if you prefer to buy Gundam models)
2) lack of weapons (only beam rifle, beam saber & sheild)

Ya, all MS has the "limitation of articulation"
but Mk. II 2.0 can pose more than the older Gundam
which is nice to play biggrin.gif
