You doing it raw does not mean that everyone else should. Unless specified its a RAW deadlift I'm not gonna edit my numbers.
I wouldn't be doing so much raw deads anyways if I didn't misplace my straps grr..

QUOTE(whatdamn @ Nov 3 2012, 11:38 AM) Good job guys. Good to see your maxes being posted for the benefit of all. Mike, I have to admit I did not put much thought into my post but when I get home, I shall make some amendments. I suggest you and future posts include a note at the side of the lift or somewhere in your post stating if any equipment was used to aide in your PR for the required lifts. Keep it up guys and gals. I guess it all boils down to you being in canada and able to join a powerlifting competition. We however don't have the objective in mind hence the indifference of using tools. I would definitely be training the same way as you if such an event happens here. Until then, straps and belt for me heh

QUOTE(Seasick85 @ Nov 5 2012, 12:17 PM) Ok. Some people think of that way. Its personal preference. Added on November 5, 2012, 12:23 pmI see.. so the trends follows like increasing intensity for few weeks and deload for 1 week, and next cycle is same pattern except that the intensity is bigger compared to previous cycle? eg 75/85/95% - 1rm, deload, let's say the max is increased by 5%, so 75/85/95% - 1.05rm, deload and so on.. Is this right? Is it good to always stay at 75/85/95% or change frequently? You still benching 2 inches above chest?

You might wanna take a vid on your one rep max touching chest form.
U train without touching chest, and yet when u do the hardest set you still can pull it off? Chest development tbh isn't there, maybe its the bf% so I won't comment on it till u cut down. But then again it shouldn't matter since you're strength oriented.
I'm skeptical, tbh.
And the irony of u calling me out when I deadlift with straps and belt, lol.

QUOTE(whatdamn @ May 1 2013, 12:20 AM) good job Iron_grizzly. only 25lb more to go. how's everyone else doing these days? was wondering if anyone would like to start a meetup to set verified PRs. think of it as a trial run powerlifting meet if you'd like? i'm back in sunny Malaysia now and wouldn't mind setting something up. Sounds fun.
