How ACSON Easi-Flo Series Drainage work? if normal aircond installed with Easi-Flo Drainage , we no need to hack the wall for piping right? what bout the compressor ? still need piping air flow for tat right?

Actually can... But if got problem (new set * under Warranty) the manufacturer will blame it on the inaccurate spec of piping and Warranty void..

what is the cheapest used aircond with installation in pj area?

but my wall have a very limited space, as long as 1 A4 size paper only.
In the middle still got a curtain rod, if can install i may need u to cut the curtain rod abit too. its a normal curtain rod

Also, I have shifted to another room which has no AC and I plan to get a 1HP AC for this super warm room.

do you do private home?

i have an invertor panasonic 1 hp. The timer light is blinking and the compressor seem to not kick in. just hot air. Auto shut down after 5 mins. Suspect the sensor coil ?

Hi Ken, my aircond is not cold, compressor/fan isn't running. It was still cold yesterday, despite having a little leak. How do you charge to come have a look include servicing? @bukit jalil area. Thanks.

Hi. currently have an old National 1.5hp in living / dining area. Would like to change to a 2.0hp wall mount unit.

1. Which a/c brand do you recommend for living area (enclosed space) with large window exposed to sunlight.
2. Should i get inverter or non?
3. How much for installation? Can use existing piping / wiring / hose? Would like to keep it at same location with existing enclosed installation.

Hi, looking for expert to service a 1hp aircon. The cooling fine but sometime the wind blower will turn to strong mode even it suppose to stay at quiet mode. Plus air leaking.

I have a haier model (non inverter) model and thinking to replace to panasonic 1hp inverter RM1100. The cabling is concealed so can you do conceal recabling (10 feet) and how much is the price?

Ken, the york aircond is 2.0hp and no need dismantle, it's on the floor. So it should be:
Chemical Clean + reinstall for 2.0hp.

Need a 1hp Daikin to replace old aircond at damansara - all ground floor, reachable by stool. Old piping still intact but want change to new about 15 feet length. Wire with old started intact but want to remove started as newer units don't require. Also need to remove old unit. Is the price same?

Btw what's the difference wt Daikin & York? And u recommend?

Hi kenneth,

Do you advise to replace the indoor unit only if the outdoor compressor is working fine? Is it possible to do that? The indoor unit is making a lot of noise and I believe the blower is not as efficient it used to be.

And what's the best brand you recommend for 1.5hp for rooms? Price and brand please.

& at my condo, would like to relocate an air con from masterbedroom to another small room. How much as well?

With that, Japan’s Daikin has come out with a new air-conditioner model, Urusara 7, which uses the R-32 refrigerant.

The refrigerant is said to have no impact on ozone layer depletion and is also more energy efficient than regular air-conditioners.

“Previously, manufacturers use R-12 and R-22 as refrigerants but these are harmful to the ozone layer. Currently the R-410A is used in many models. Although the ozone depletion potential has been reduced to zero, this still has a high global warming potential. With the R-32 refrigerant in the latest Daikin air-conditioners, we can reduce environmental impact,” says Sanky Sue, senior consultant, regional VRV Sales Division at Daikin.

Apart from using zero impact refrigerant, Urusara 7 has energy saving Econo Mode which limits maximum power consumption as well as lower electricity use during standby. The model also uses 3-Area Intelligent Eye which employs infrared sensors to detect human movement in a room. Where there is no movement detected, the feature adjusts the set temperature by 2 °C to achieve energy savings. It can also be set to automatically stop operation.

With Daikin’s Circulation Airflow technology, Urusara 7 is also able to cool a typical sized living room in just seven minutes, says Sue. He adds that with the dehumidifier feature, users are able to enjoy a cool environment in comfort and prevent overcooling which can lead to energy waste.

my indoor unit just spoiled, used for 2yrs, very well taken care of. can i just replace my indoor unit n remain using my old outdoor compressor unit? mine is hitachi brand.

- Cool & Fast enough to Cool Up - (especially when i enter my room / house after a long Hot Day)

- Durability - (Tahan ~ just look at which brand of AC is powering up the important places around)

- Warranty - (Which Company / Brand that provide the Fairest (paling adil) & reliable Warranty ?)

- After Sales Service - (you call - the next day they arrived, availability of Spare Parts (i cannot wait for the part for 6 weeks La)

1 have 5 set of aircond (external and internal) which I can't recall which one of the compressor is faulty one.
All already been dismantled about 4mths ago.

1. iA - 15CT7B (iThink)
2. CU - C120 KH (National) (2 units)
3. HS - C1264SA4 (LG)
4. SAP - C91GA (Sanyo)

And I also can't recall the HP for each unit, but definitely have variation, not only 1HP.

Can you quote me installation cost for all 5 (I believe you know the HP for each of them).

For the piping, for 5, do you count as total 50 feet or 10 each? I plan for 2 back to back installation while the remaining 3 unit is about 10 to 15 feet between external and internal unit.

Please also include in separation line, if you have decent looking and performance, used internal unit. I'm considering to change all 5 units as well since the existing one is already yellowish (might trade in with you if ok).

If buy new panasonic a/c or daikin a/c unit, any issue during warranty period, usually will you come down to solve the problem, or usually its the panasonic/daikin technician will come down to look after the problem/case?

Problem - for New Air Conditioners

Installation problem > Water Leaking > Gas Leaking > Copper Bent


-- these are Installer / Air Cond Men's problem


AC unit Problem > i.c board > compressor > indoor & outdoor fan > or anything that is not because of Installation

-- Manufacturer's Problem - you call YORK, the next day they arrived..

1st year - YORK will handle whatever the AC's problem (non installation problem), no labour charge or anything (for indoor & outdoor) ** if ventilation for the outdoor unit (heat cannot discharge because blocking / ac room too narrow / small), this is a Grey Area , depends...

ACSON did replace the new compressor for one of my customer (installed 2 months) even though their air cond room was very crowded and hot (Bad ventilation - Hot air cannot discharge fast enough in a crowded space with many outdoors) - Menara Bata - PJ


after 1st year, only the Compressor of the Outdoor unit will be under Warranty (up to 5 years). The Compressor inside the Outdoor unit, not the Fan, not the Capacitor or anything other than the Compressor.. and YORK will send their technician over to check and to verify if the Compressor is indeed faulty. IF confirmed Compressor Faulty, a service claim form will be given to Customer and Customer will need to get the Service of Air Cond men to Dismantle the Compressor and bring to YORK to claim the New Compressor. After that the air cond men need to Vacum and install the New Compressor and put in Gas.. and Air Cond men will charge you for this Service...



** Under Normal Circumstances - Correct Installation (Copper, Outdoor's ventilation etc), its Hard for a YORK to fail...

hi. i got a LG 1.5hp ac that i want to replace.
the indoor side is ok but the outdoor one is not. (leaking oil)

what can i replace without changing the pipes? (concealed in plaster ceiling jor)
