I would like to install a 2.0 ac at my stay in residence to replace my Daikin Inverter R22 1.5 ac which is concealed. Can you advise if I can do a direct replacement without need to change the piping? My preference would be to use Daikin

If buy new panasonic a/c or daikin a/c unit, any issue during warranty period, usually will you come down to solve the problem, or usually its the panasonic/daikin technician will come down to look after the problem/case?

Installation problem > Water Leaking > Gas Leaking > Copper Bent

AC unit Problem > i.c board > compressor > indoor & outdoor fan > or anything that is not because of Installation

-- Manufacturer's Problem - you call YORK, the next day they arrived..

1st year - YORK will handle whatever the AC's problem (non installation problem), no labour charge or anything (for indoor & outdoor) ** if ventilation for the outdoor unit (heat cannot discharge because blocking / ac room too narrow / small), this is a Grey Area , depends...

ACSON did replace the new compressor for one of my customer (installed 2 months) even though their air cond room was very crowded and hot (Bad ventilation - Hot air cannot discharge fast enough in a crowded space with many outdoors) - Menara Bata - PJ


after 1st year, only the Compressor of the Outdoor unit will be under Warranty (up to 5 years). The Compressor inside the Outdoor unit, not the Fan, not the Capacitor or anything other than the Compressor.. and YORK will send their technician over to check and to verify if the Compressor is indeed faulty. IF confirmed Compressor Faulty, a service claim form will be given to Customer and Customer will need to get the Service of Air Cond men to Dismantle the Compressor and bring to YORK to claim the New Compressor. After that the air cond men need to Vacum and install the New Compressor and put in Gas.. and Air Cond men will charge you for this Service...



** Under Normal Circumstances - Correct Installation (Copper, Outdoor's ventilation etc), its Hard for a YORK to fail...
