What app you last installed? Try check through the last apps you have installed. If not, reboot the phone and see if that works. It shows error?

Here's my simple comparison between perseus and redpill kernel.

First and second, Perseus kernel.
Third and fourth, RedPill kernel.

During perseus, more towards screen and call. During redpill, more screen and browser.

What do you think? shakehead.gif

Duhh..why make comparison when the battery still got 60% left. Let it rundown till 1% left la to know which kernel is better.
But then again..saving battery maybe one of the main feature with certain kernel while others maybe looking for speed and tweaking features.
Well..win some..lose some    lolz
*
Easy to answer that!

Cos I am lazy LOL! Just comparing it since....I am so free right now tongue.gif

And you know what? I ter-on my NFC for like....1 week and I totally forgotten about it. doh.gif

Anyway, does note 2 still need the full cycle run for battery? I am doing it just once a month. How about you?

QUOTE(auhckw @ Nov 7 2012, 05:53 PM)
1) My Note2 even after update to the latest firmware yesterday via Kies doesn't come with Multi Window. Do I have to install it separately?

2) To root the phone is so that to let app install on the SD card. Besides that what other benefits?
*
1. Long press back button. Does it shows multiwindow?

2. Well rooting gives you ability to delete those unwanted apps and bloatware. Basically like a key to open your phone inside part. Modify them if you want etc.

QUOTE(blackrobin @ Nov 7 2012, 05:58 PM)
nvm my previous post.. i got confused..

I've tried all the kernels....
best combination is ARHD 4.0 + latest stock kernel...
my test for fluidity is scrolling through messages in whatsapp and scrolling through rom toolbox pro. (of cuz with hardware acceleration checked)

So, what's the missing link?
Following are my results
Latest stock firmware + latest stock  kernel+ no bloatware removed = stuttery
Latest stock firmware + latest perseus + no bloatware removed = stuttery
ARHD 4.0 + Latest perseus/redpill+ bloatware removed = stuttery
ARHD 4.0 + lastest stock kernel + bloatware removed = fluid..

missing link could be bloatware ..to ascertain this i have to try the first option with bloatware removed..
or it could be just the the right combination arhd 4.0 + stock kernel...

can someone tell me the name of the base used in the latest arhd 4.0
*
How do you enable the acceleration thingy?

I also dont understand why u guys complaining about the battery when its 3100mah that can last 8 hours a day with heavy usage. A new battery only rm120.

Who cares delepted or not just charge. U can afford a 2k phone u cant afford a battery cost a tiny fraction of your phone.

I really no comment
*
Haha well said. In my opinion, it is more towards...wasting time and empty talks biggrin.gif

QUOTE(gouken @ Nov 7 2012, 06:32 PM)
For proper maintenance of a lithium-based battery, it’s important to keep the electrons in it moving occasionally. Be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down). This also helps in recalibrate the battery percentage to be more accurate.

Actually i read this somewhere during s2 time. Just wanna make sure honestly...

Thanks. It works (1). I'm such noob  shakehead.gif

Well, it is true there are many apps that comes with the phone that I will never use. I'll explore rooting it next week when I'm on whole week leave. Slow slow explore.

Btw, are there already modification to stock roms where ppl removed all the unnecessary apps already?

Thanks.
*
Haha no problem. To turn off long press again. Hmm if you want completely just use Slim rom such as HyperNote or Monxdified. Pretty good though. If not just use TB pro remove them.

Guys, anyone having the same situation as me?

Charge my note today. After leaving it and disconnect it at 70%. I notice this
- charger abit hot
- back cover where battery is a hot
- checked at setting -> battery. Didnt reset. Instead it still running at 2days++
*
Charge until 100% and then unplug. It should he done then.
If you got cwm, then wipe battery stats.

QUOTE(EmbraceLife @ Nov 7 2012, 06:47 PM)
just got my note2 today xD
btw, is anyone experiencing wake up lag with le phone?
*
No wor...how lag is lag?

QUOTE(blackrobin @ Nov 7 2012, 06:53 PM)
the option forces older apps to used hardware for 2d rendering...
most modern apps have this enabled natively in them
some like quickpic, greader, you'll have the option to either turn it on or off
some apps turning on hd acc renders them useless....really really old app

if all the android phones out there were powered by JB/ICS - the scenario would be different..

from a consumer's perspective, GB was the platform for most apps we've got today... They just run flawlessly on GB.
*
Thanks for your explanation. In your opinion, worth to turn on?Sorry for the question though!

Not sure. Weird. Which shop you buy in melaka? If the package said lifetime, ask the question back to the seller. See what he or she says.
