QUOTE(kahyeec @ Dec 11 2012, 01:37 PM) Since Big Ipad is somewhat unchanged since the original launched in 2010, I think a visit to shops that sell china stuff cheap can get you a new SP for RM7 or RM9 for matte ones. Since the price for SP and installation is around RM35-40 in most HandPhone Shop. You can buy 2 to learn and install and still be cheaper than the shops. Usually the thicker the SP the easier for it to install , Clear ones are very tricky because they are thinner and you end up with lots of bubbles and the feel of swipe is a bit frictional if you bought the really cheap ones. Use the matte ones and you can usually install in 1 easy step because it is thicker and the feel of swipe is better. Never never put matte screen protector on your ipad with retina display or any devices that have retina display or equivalent. The retina display is a gorgeous and sharp screen and matte SP would greatly reduce its sharpness and contrast....a true waste of a beautiful technology. The best is no SP. You will feel the true smoothness of the screen and touch. The iPad screen are actually very scratch resistance so if you do not abuse it, it generally won't get scratch. The way I see it, you can enjoy the true glory of the retina display for the life of the iPad and probably get a few scratch or you can use a SP to protect the screen but never see the true beauty of what the retina display have to offer. 2-3 years down the road, your iPad is gonna get obsolete so what if you have a perfectly scratchless screen? If you really must have a SP because of kids or something, then use clear SP. This post has been edited by lightning69: Dec 12 2012, 05:20 PM |

QUOTE(skincladalien @ Dec 12 2012, 09:14 PM) i put clear type, the screen is so nice now. what kind of window cleaner you using?swipe with some window cleaner and it will be smooth touch Added on December 13, 2012, 10:04 am QUOTE(kahyeec @ Dec 12 2012, 07:03 PM) Lucky I put matte SP on my Ipad 2 only, not retina. If I get Ipad with Retina screens I also now thinking where to get thick and clear SP cheaply. like under 10 ringgit. Or I will order from China from Taobao. try a clear type on your iPad 2. Its till make a whole lot of difference. This post has been edited by lightning69: Dec 13 2012, 10:04 AM |
