Hey guys, how about Logitech Z506 speaker? good? i heard it got surround sound as it is a 5.1 speaker. can comment on this?
Hi PPZ,
You have budget to push to =RM 300 (Nearly). I have helped you surveyed on this Z506-Logitech, the cheapest price you can get
from the market (Lelong) is about RM 269, and this is excluding with their courier fee.
And your "Little Monster" looks like this:
And about the sound quality, I would give it a green light. Please help to read on below review and find on their comments.

http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/10/logitech-z506-review/ The feeling of immersion in Hero's guqin courtyard fight scene was fantastic, with raindrops hitting the pavement all around, and we felt every bullet whiz by during Neo's infamous bullet dodge in The Matrix thanks to punchy front and rear sound. Solitary singers came through high and clear in the front and center channels, their words reverberating off the auditorium walls behind us, while orchestral pieces and applause shared the front but with a welcome rear bias. Tossing flaming barrels with our Half-Life 2 gravity gun, than quickly turning away, we could easily tell by audio alone in which direction they'd exploded, and the worlds of Mass Effect 2 took on an incredible sense of immediacy with futuristic advertisements and alien conversations bombarding our ears from all directions at once. In other words: surround sound kicks ass, and these speakers are excellent boots.
Wrap Up
If you've never experienced true 5.1 surround sound, have a capable sound card and your content primarily resides on your PC, the $100 Logitech Z506 are a fantastic introduction, but we can't honestly recommend them over the company's far-more flexible X-540 set -- the obvious choice at the $90 you can presently find them for. When it comes to analog surround sound, anyone can hook up two or three sets of quality two-channel speakers to get a similar effect, so the onus is on Logitech to make combo 5.1 packages like this easy to use and set up. We're mystified why the firm would ever introduce a package with less bang for the buck.
But, if you have more "Bullets", you can consider X-540, selling at RM 359 in lelong.com.my.

Here is another acoustic review by the expert from other author.

http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/pc-speakers...8/logitech-zAll All of our test tracks sounded excellent through the Z506 set; acoustic songs were suitably mellow but with crisp detail, even at low volume. Turning it up for our heavier songs, the speakers comfortably filled our test room with sound. Both rock and electronic music had plenty of bass, but the satellites could still be heard clearly over the subwoofer. Once we’d fine-tuned the bass, movies also sounded fantastic. The surround sound effect in Casino Royale’s opening chase scene was very convincing, with each speaker picking out finer details as well as all the major action.
Although it isn’t without its faults, we were still impressed with the Z506 set and its superb audio quality. It costs slightly more than the older X-530, but it has a greatly improved design and everything we played on it sounded fantastic. You’ll need to spend a lot more to get a better set of 5.1 speakers
But more importantly, please ask the seller (PC's assistant) to demo the set for you, sometimes their successor is no better than their predecessor as in the case of EV0 3 Pro vs EVO 5 Pro, but this is not to "Blacksheep" for the remaining series in Evo Pro.
Hope this can really serve a great tools in determining the right set for your taste+ right value for your money ($$$$).
Ciao.

I bought myself a Vinnfier521,IMO the best among all vinnfier series. was tempted to get the champ 300 or champ 200...but their sound quality seriously disapoints me. CHamp 200 was very not clear, the clarity is horrible..for champ 300 the clarity is better but the bass was a disapointment. In the end the vinnfier 521 was the overall better choice for me..u can try to find this model if it has over there
Hi Jaroque,
How much you bought??? and How was the sound for this masterpiece??? Can describe for me????
Does it base its sound on "Bass" over "Treble" or Vice-versa? Or they finally put a well-balance on Bass and Treble together, working in a harmony state????

Well, I have a feeling that the Edifier E3100 may be EOL'ed soon. This speaker system used all wood construction for both satellites and subwoofer, which is very rare for speakers of this budget range. They are very decent speakers. However if you could find and afford the Edifier M3400 (which incidentally is also all wood construction) then that would be even better. That Edifier M3400 should be within your budget and is suitable for movies, music and gaming.
The tweeter adds more ambience, definition and detail to the sound, especially for high frequency content such as females voice, choir, a-cappella, cymbals, hi hats, various sound effects, etc. If you had ever noticed, most higher end speaker systems (including HiFi speakers) have tweeters while most low end speaker systems do not have tweeters. Thus speaker systems with tweeters are much more preferable.
Hi Lex,
Thanks for your clarification on Tweeter. Fortunate enough, there is a specialist shop (Edifier) who still sells on this brand in Prangin Mall.
I personally try to distinguish the sound by its bass and treble. However, I still find E3100 enticing to me, the clarity is good as compared to M3400.
M3400 is putting its weigh on Bass over the Treble when playing a certain song. Definitely M3400 has lost its charm on its treble.
However, the Shopkeeper (Prangin Mall) recommended me to consider M 3300 if I am going to select, E3100. Both E3100 and M 3300 seems to be
on the comparatively good bar for me. Good Clarity ( Bass+ Treble) well-balancing. But I have the propensity to choose E3100 than M 3300, perhaps this
tight to my personally taste. FYI- M 3300 is not fully enclosed with wooden enclosure.
But above all, what had disappointed me is that, the price set by them is cutting my throat, E 3100 is selling at RM 190, M 3400 sells at RM 235 and
M 3300 sells at RM 275. They are not shy to stack up the price (A RM 50 higher than the market price), and better yet this is their best bargain for me.
What a disingenuous in dealing business with customer. Customer are easily tipped-off when the price is unreasonable higher than the market price especially
the models are few-years old already.

E 3100 will be my part of my consideration, I am still surveying other viable options to get (2.1 Speaker) with reasonable price+ good quality in sound.
Thanks.
