For mainstream brands, Sony xperia P or Huawei ascend P1.
Others, CSL mi501. Much better than above and much cheaper. thumbup.gif

Hey guys, mind giving some recommendation? Details below;

1. Brand. [Any, tho a fan of HTC]
2. Budget. [cheaper the better! range 700-1k, but will consider higher based on requirement]
3. Specs. [Cam at least 5MP, Screen size like HTC One V? Sorry not sure on the measurement!]
4. What you need in the phone
[Not really a heavy user, in fact this would be my 1st owned smartphone. Will prolly use just to online FB/twitter/take pics/listen to music. Smaller phones not convenient to my long fingers, hence the HTC One V being the ideal size. I was thinking of HTC One V and Samsung Galaxy S Advance. But open to other suggestion if there is any/better.

Thanks in advance!

HTC's midrange smartphones are not recommended. Get the Xperia P or CSL Mi501. Or S Advance.

Since cheaper the better, I suggest Sony xperia sola / go. Or if u dun mind bigger size a bit, Motorola atrix 2 (cheap now, RM7xx ori set).
One V is overpriced. But it should perform well enough for 1st time user and it's your favourite brand.

if you like HTC sense UI...then 1V is ok for 1st buyer.... and your usage all the phone also can handle it...but if you later on want to play custom rom after boring with the phone...then samsung is ur choice.

thats the reason i ask how much you been offer lo.... personal opinion is both also old set with almost none upgrade anymore unless wait xda ppl help you out...

use xe before.... if nothing much apps install, well, is quiet nice 1.... hope u get what i mean smile.gif

battery for xe is much better then htc sensation, xe older version (used before also) but not sure compare with atrix2.

oh...and 1 more things...htc sensation /xe series antenna is weaker then other phone, i put same place for samsung s2g and sensation using umobile last time at my office.... xe no signal at all but s2g still show edge signal, slow internet but at least no problem in phone call....thats my personal experience

kind of not so recommend these 2 phone...anyway.... whats is ur max budget ?

You personally reviewed the phone? Could you share your experience in the CSL Mi501 thread? I really need a review, and review units are hard to come by sweat.gif.
