To request recommendation, what u need to post:

1. Brand : Prefer Samsung, but others brand can be considered if the specs are right.

2. Budget. RM1k - 1.5k

3. Specs : Match with the price that I pay for.

4. What you need in the phone : Is a gift for my dad that upgrade from old Nokia phones. Prefer with good camera that produce quality pictures, loud ringtones and speaker phone and long lasting battery.

spec wise s duos best, but not selling in malaysia
at your price range, get sony xperia p (recommend), else galaxy s advance

Xperia TX for good camera, JiaYu G3 also can consider, HTC One X is good too, and then there's the Newman N2.
