I need recommendations ASAP.~
Have been using galaxy mini for almost a year. Plan to buy a new phone due to heavy usage..

1. Brand -
samsung/sony/htc

2. Budget -
1k~1.5k

3. Specs -
-large internal storage memory.. (no 256mb pliz.. nightmare )


4. What you need in the phone -
-Long battery life!! Mostly use for 3G usage (internet surfing..fb..apps etc) and GPS.. definitely NOT for gaming, I rarely play games on my phone.
-Good camera. (Im a photography enthusiast, need a good quality and MOBILE,e easy to carry camera for street photography.. outings wif frens.. events..etc random/misc capture).. galaxy mini 2megapixel.. i wanna suicide~
- Lag-free & ultra smooth if possible when operating the phone.
- High resistance to fall/damage/scratch, durable~ (my galaxy mini survives 3~4 falls LOL.. mostly accidentally dropped frm my pocket/slip from hand LOL)

I don't think I'll go with those digi/maxis smartphone plans.. I'm currently using digi prepaid plans, 600mb per month RM30, I top up RM40 for the first month, and the extra RM10 still left some till now.. lul plus got bonus talktime from digi.. still can survive another two months b4 i top up another RM10 for sms and calling. More than enough for me (I use opera mini.. 80% data savings.. 5.5GB >> 1.1GB, so far so good? O.O )

Xperia S, Xperia TX,

Is Xperia S = Xperia Acro S?
One of my friend recommend me Xperia Acro S,
well the camera quality did amazes me.. 12megapixels..

another phone which comes into my consideration is galaxy S2.. If I put aside the camera quality, is S2 better than Xperia? In terms of performance (multi-task.. app usage etc)?

Acro s is different from xperia s. basically its the same thing and design but acro s got water and dust proof.i preferred s2 than xperia.don't be fool by Sony's 12mp camera..got issue with focus function plus the noise on the pictures are so high..how ever in term of design,i admit sony way better than samsung..

Btw with 1.5k budget,i choose s3..good battery life and camera..

Yes ap set.or 2nd hand sme set.and if u wait,u could get note 2 with that price.my 2 months old ap galaxy note 2 sold for rm1.5k.lol~

AP sets suck.

Sucks on what term? The idea that ap set is different compared to original set is not right.its the same thing.if there's a different,it will be the charger adapter..

*but of course la ap set got limitation on the warranty policies..normally malaysian ap set cover the led and accessories only for 3 months..

adreno 320 or mali 400MP or nvidia?

what i need in the phone : long lasting battery / doesn't HEAT UP easily when used for long hours (unlike g.nexus. epic fail)
vast functionality. Good sunlight legibility. Good speaker db and hearing while calls. 4G capable (since 4G is coming to our way soon)

Owhh.. So still can use others sim inside this ninetology phone. Digi will be a permanent and can add 1 other more sim. Great.

S3? T_T it's not possible for me to add in more budget, now I'm stucked in between xperia acro s and s2.

1.5k then got ap set

No , acro S better than s2 in all aspect .
Screen , durable , nfc etc .
Only active , xperia go , acro S can survive fall .
Unless you have heavy duty case .
