Service centre will wipe everything after doing upgrades. That's the right way to do it as factory reset eliminate those pesky problem that a lot of users here have.

after updating my kies to the latest one, it cant detect my s3. the error i got was "this device is not supported by samsung kies 2.0"

anyone having this prob too? my s3 is still unrooted

Just found out that wiping with cwn doesn't clean all the file in internal memory... I miss wiping ussd code now =(

Use from the phone setting la. Make all necessary backup first before do factory reset.

1) try un-install and re-install Kies
2) try use different port or different PC
3) try do a factory reset on your phone

My S3 having problem of keep showing 1 miss call at phone icon, no matter how and what I deleted, SMS, incoming/outgoing/miss, its always there, anyone can help how to get rid of it ?

Cwm somehow confusing... I thought that option will format my sd card. Will try next time as I already wiped my phone using phone setting. Wonder will it work the second time when I want to wipe my phone again

Btw, I just updated to latest wanamlite. 1 thing I don't like about the current version is it make video calling to those who r mot save in my contacts extremely difficult =(

Stock rom is stock rom, it is not aosp rom, right? AOSP is those custom rom.
