QUOTE(artistlo @ Jul 28 2019, 10:35 PM) Techically: horribleFundamental: loss making. Analysts also scared to be bullish. So, question is, do u have any special insights that fundamentals will change? Other than what TF says? My friend bot this at IPO.. 100k placement shares. Didn't cut loss.. Believe in TF. Kesian my friend. |

But as I understand it, the business model of a long haul low-cost carrier is difficult to make money. U already hv bankruptcy for some airline trying this model (Wow Air) .This post has been edited by Cubalagi: Jul 29 2019, 05:25 PM |

Malindo Air asks staff to take up to 50pct pay cut to cushion Covid-19 blow
KUALA LUMPUR: Malindo Air has ordered its staff to take up to a 50 per cent pay cut and two weeks unpaid leave as the Covid-19 coronavirus epidemic hurts air travel demand and the broader industry, according to a memo sighted by Reuters. In a company-wide memo sent on Friday, chief executive officer Mushafiz Mustafa Bakri said the airline has implemented several measures to cope with the revenue shortfall, including suspending flights, appealing to suppliers to defer payments, and asking staff to volunteer for unpaid leave. https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2020/03/...n-covid-19-blow Believe this will occur at other airlines, hotels and hospitality business. I think the AAX is not very good based on current parameters on 22 Jul 2022 for buyers.
i) From a technical analysis of the price trend perspective, there is the double top and downtrend. ![]() Link= www.stochie.com/?tick=5238.KL ii) From its financial statement, the latest quarter earning/profit is high as it sells off its asset to pay off its mounting debts. I believe it is a good move but I have to point out that if a company's value is measured by its assets, the current assets of AAX are mediocre at most. Link= www.stochie.com/trends/5238.KL/ |
