Actually NO...
Disney not only took over Star Wars...
Disney took over the whole Lucas Film, everything about Lucas Film have currently..
That why 4 billion..

In fact 4 billion is not so expensive...

Disney paid 7 billion to Pixar...
Disney paid 4.2 billion to Marvel...

Now Disney really control Hollywood film industry....

OMG!! THX now belong to Disney already...sad.gif

New Star Wars Film Will be ‘Original Story’ [REPORT]

Forget all the rumors. The upcoming Star Wars film won’t be based on any existing plot — it’s entirely original.

At least that’s according to a report by E! Online. A LucasFilm source tells the entertainment website that, “It’s an original story.”

Online fans originally speculated that Episode 7 would bring Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn Trilogy — a series of books considered part of Star Wars canon — to the silver screen.

“Of all the speculation out there about the content of this new trilogy, that’s the single most concrete idea,” Eric Geller, of fan site TheForce.net, told E!. “It’s almost inevitable that the story will take place in the same time frame as those books.”

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that one possibility being considered is “an Avengers-style movie universe” featured in three more Star Wars films, as well as spinoff movies following individual characters.

So far, no directors have been attached to the project, sources also revealed.

Disney announced Tuesday that it was acquiring Lucasfilm LTD, including the Star Wars franchise, for more than $4 billion. The Burbank, Calif.-based company said it plans to release Episode 7 in 2015, and that more Star Wars films will be added to the franchise.

Are you excited or disappointed that Episode 7 will be an original story? Would you prefer that the film be based on an existing plot? Discuss in the comments below.
