yeah just look at Gnex i bought it when i t was launched at rm2050 not even 6mths down the road, its 1200 for a brand new i sold my gnex at 900 last week and its only 9mths old, fark the second hand value of nexus becos it is sold at such an inflated rrp i wont be buying any nexus device anytime soon unless the rrp is less than rm1500
The first few ( i think 3-4 of them ) paid RM 2800 for it than follow by RM 2300-2500 !!! I paid RM 2400 ( AP set) for it but sold it after 3+ months for RM 1800+ and bought it back again few months ago for RM 1100 ( SME set ) !! So see the price differences. If you can wait, 6 months time is the best pricing after official release
Than stick to IOS as it is equally good as android. IOS fags will say is more superior. I have used all the iPhone n ipad series but personally I still prefer Android Only on desktops my preference is always MacOSX . I use windows only to flash phones
If phone value over RM 500 there is a 10% tax. Then there's Sirim charges, I think around RM 250 per phone. Lol, I buy one coolant tester from US, arrive here a week later via USPS first class international mail. So I think around 1-2 weeks max. One simple small box cost me RM 30-40.
there is no custom duty or any tax on mobile phones. Only sirim permit rm100
True in many cases, but there's a big difference in this scenario. It's not that most of the people who use TouchPiss actually prefer it. They just don't know what stock Android is. Your average mama and papa don't visit rootzwiki or xda, and before this year, Google didn't even market their Nexus line seriously. People could only judge by what they saw in front of them, with dealers not offering better alternatives.. Same reason why fat chicks continue to get pregnant; there are always guys that don't know what's available out there, so they settle for the first thing they can get and tell themselves it's the best they can achieve.
I guarantee you, 95% of people who know how to root and flash a custom ROM featuring the vanilla Android UI from ICS and above on their Samseng handsets will never go back to TouchPiss. The remaining 5%, well, they're probably blind from always wearing those ugly oversized K-Pop inspired glasses anyway, so no hope for them.
Go and test out the latest Touch wiz on G Note 2 and you will see the vast improvement in TW I am not a fan of TouchWiz too but the latest version had change my mind I always use alternative launchers and replace the default Samsung UI with either CM9/CM10 alternatives too in my other previous Androids Your statement is absolutely too fan boyish i would say
USD 400 , shipping USD10 to our doorstep from Ebay US, i guess the price still worth?
Plus RM 100 for SIRIM permit . This can be used up to 3 phones fro RM 100 Your phone will be held at custom dept - you got to go to nearest SIRIM office with the courier notice, your purchase details ( PO or email confirmation, etc) , IC and fill up i rememeber 3 forms - paid RM 100 and gert the permit within an hour. Than go back to custom dept show them permit and only clear out your phone. NO duties for mobile phones but if tablets need to pay 10 % duty on tablet cost +courier costs too So get 2 other buyers share out the RM 100 sirim costs

I think you need to notify the seller to mark it as a gift or you'll get taxed by customs?
Custom people not so stupid ; i bought my phone and tablet overseas marked as gift also no use

Hm what if we only bought one phone? Like you claim you bought the phone to use as your own personal phone for personal reasons. Would we have to pay for SIRIM permit?
as long as detained by custom must pay rm100 for sirim permit exception is you kawan baik with custom n they close an eye

To earn more from us I just bought my N7 via Newegg Malaysia last month without any duty. The officer in Newegg also mentioned to me that no duty on tablet and phone. Sirim permit only applicable for GSM or 3G device
That is not my experience sadly. I was personally told by the custom officer in JB customs all wifi tablet is subjected to 10% tax. Maybe is for personal import ??
i'm sure most of the time it is, but sometimes it just isn't responsive enough for my liking, like opening an app, it takes almost 2 seconds sometimes for anything to happen. for a high end quad core phone, this is just unacceptable. maybe i'm just too used to the super response on vanilla JB, and i'm just using a single core phone....
I know all these while you never like touch wiz similarly as me. But tw great improvement in note2 2 sec launch app is ridiculous more like immediate I would say is definitely equally smooth n fast as galaxy nexus vanilla ui and I have used both phones extensively
Pocketnow.com video comparison Nexus 4 vs Galaxy Nexus Summary: The Nexus 4 is faster than the Galaxy Nexus in launching apps by about one second in every case Web browsing performance is about equal, probably because the Nexus 4 uses Chrome, which still isn’t as fast as the stock Android browser The display quality of the Nexus 4 is better than the Galaxy Nexus, but touch responsiveness is worse because of the use of in-cell display technology The hardware of the Nexus 4 is more unique and handsome than the Galaxy Nexus, but the Galaxy Nexus seems to have a better in-hand feel thanks to better weighting and grippy textures
Yea I know how to migrate but I've organized folders in hotmail. So i'll just leave it first until one day when gmail is a must but I doubt hotmail will become obsolete as long as microsoft survived
Microsoft since last month already advised all to move over to outlook.com as both live.com n hot mail.com will be discontinued All your present mail n setup folders remain intact n all mail transferred over. Just a matter of few clicks You should have received email notice at least 2-3 months back about this

I thought he used comgateway isit? I transferred but mine still hotmail.com
I transferred one or two months back
I think microsoft won't eliminate whole hotmail.com/live.com domain since it'll create seriously huge trouble for their users. Unless they do the forwarding thing if ppl send email to XXX@hotmail.com, they forward it to outlook.
But I think we won't be using outlook.com right?
My hotmail interface now is outlook interface but it stays as hotmail.com
It wont be an immediate termination of live n hotmail servers. I believe this exercise to switch over will take at least a year. it would be "unprofitable" and not practical for Microsoft to maintain 3 mail servers instead of only one. I guess the full switch over will take place once Windows 8 is more established in the market In the meantime present LIVE and HOtmail users will be constantly reminded to switch over to outlook.com You can just use outlook.com email now to replace hotmail
