The US and Aus price not much different as well

I think wont go beyond RM 1400 in Malaysia

US Pricing:

Nexus 4 (8GB), 299 USD = RM 1000

Nexus 4 (16GB), 349 USD = RM 1150
Australia Pricing:

Nexus 4 (8GB), 349 AUD include GST

Nexus 4 (16GB), 399 AUD include GST
*
hope so that this will be the market price in Malaysia

I do not understand why some people are very kiasu with non-removable battery? Surely the manufacturer has implant a way to reboot the device if it becomes unresponsive. This is a basic thing to do. Do not say custom ROM will hang the phone, even stock with bad apps also will make the phone freeze.

Did you considered Apple as the 'manufacturer'?
iOS also will hang. If hang then really need wait battery finish laugh.gif

Not kiasu... It's just preference. Why so many ppl still use One X and iPhone? Those who said don't like the non-removable battery is just their personal preference. Why care so much? sweat.gif

I'm in Android thread, not Apple. Thus Apple is not in the discussion.

And this user preference will drag this wonderful thread to no where.

If the user says "Sealed battery... not my cup of tea", I'm ok with it but most of em said "Sealed battery, if hang how? If freeze how to reboot?"

For me I did not care much, but I prefer to use power button instead of "cabut-able" battery. I wish my Gnex is same as N7 when it hangs. Just press the button and not so hassle to take it out from casing and remove the "fragile" back cover.

iPhones will also hang sometimes, I am sure every phone does. But there are plenty of alternative ways to reboot the device without even thinking of 'replaceable batteries'. The easiest way, plug in the power cable, or you can always hold on to the power button while holding the home button for 10 secs. It will kick up the phone again thumbup.gif

I'm sure the manufacturer will have a way for us to turn-off the phone with "non removal" battery...
FYI, you can force-turn off the iphone with holding the home and sleep button together...
no need to wait for battery to finish... shakehead.gif

What if LG pricing is like Apple?  brows.gif  brows.gif  brows.gif

USD499 = RM1499

USD349 = ????  drool.gif  drool.gif  drool.gif

Doubt LG will mark up like Apple, because the demand is not there. LG is considered as a smaller brand, compared to brands like Samsung, HTC and Apple. So if a smaller brand marks up the price of their products, the chances of not doing well is pretty high laugh.gif

I am still hoping RAZR MAXX HD will come to Malaysia, otherwise this should be the phone to go for me. Other than storage size and battery life, the phone seems perfect.

You must not forget, the sellers in Malaysia will sell in a MUCH higher price, and they will give lots of reason like shipping costs, tax etc to rationalize it.

To prove you're wrong. There's no LCD (IPS, PLS, whatever) in the market that achieve 100% gamut. While Super AMOLED...

Go to Anantech;
You'll see that the iPhone 5 has the widest colorspace of any display, and it's a Sharp designed IPS. You can keep your phonearena (these people write reviews after a single day of use, I give them no credibility whatsoever) scores and whatnot. All I know is that nobody in the graphic arts space (think Eizo Coloredge monitors) is even investing in Amoled, simply because they never get true rendition.

I'm not saying it's bad. If you prefer your display to look like it's from some anime, than by all means go ahead. I prefer the more accurate rendition from IPS displays. Note: I can only speak for current tech. Maybe Samsung or Japan Display will come up with some newtype OLED tomorrow, I dunno.
