Probably ask a friend from the US to ship over to me. I'm pretty optimistic that the Nexus 4 will arrive here only next year. But the only problem is the charging port and warranty. hmmm

judging from the price of nexus 7 which is rm999 (us 249), the price here should be around rm1400-1500 max..extra 300 to 400 bucks compare to US..not forget the price tag us$349 haven include the state tax yet..

however, rm1.1k-1.2k sound like impossible..

RM1300-1400 is what i expect, if LG does what Asus does.

But RM1100 - 1200 may happen.

Still even if LG follows Asus footstep, it is still competitively priced here.

Seriously, considering the state of the mobile connection in Malaysia and how it is priced (internet service), who would even consider 8gb?

Seriously ? Now we are discussing the 299$ version pricing .
Don drag unrelated things into this discussing .
Sure i know 16gb is btter than 8gb . Even my grandma know bigger number is better , but its unrelated with the price estimate .

And pls don use ur personal favor as "everyone" .
At least for me i will consider the 8GB version if it is cheap enough .

You mean you are discussing about the 8gb version, we are discussing the Nexus 4 in general, didn't see the OP specifically stating 8GB in the Title. And no offense taken from you, I am just giving a general idea of what to go for and what not to considering all the limitations that our country has.

Last time G.Nex outright price $399, and it was sold 2099 RRP (according to Digi RRP Price).

So now 8GB Nexus 4 $299, can we estimate RRP is around 299/399 * 2099 = RM1572+- ?

16GB 349$ = Rm999 impossible to be 1.1-1.2k already .

Phone is different from tablet as it consist tax , and then local distributer will jack up abit like nexus 7 .
Perhaps Rm1499 seem like legit guess hmm.gif hmm.gif

Anyway , it already in my wishlist for 8gb/16gb depend on price blush.gif blush.gif

Nexus 7 is priced RM999, in USD that's $326 around the local stores here in Malaysia, it's about 30% more than the original launch price in USA.

In US it is priced as USD $249 that's roughly RM 760+ according to google,

it's safe to assume that $349(16gb)= 1068 + 30% = roughly around 1380 - 1400.

That's just my assumption tho, it may differ.

Yup, we are assuming that the price region will be within there. Even after tax in the US, should be around 1.3k after conversion (inclusive of shipping and tax). So 1499 is possible thumbup.gif

another alternative for me to choose other than note 2. worth the wait since the time is coming.

let see how good the price we can get with the rpp and discount price bundle with telco offers.
