Cristiano Ronaldo has 11 (4 penalties) goals from 61 shots in the league. Suarez has 6 goals from 56. Ronaldo plays with much better players and gets a lot more 1 on 1 vs. the keeper. Yet from open play he has 1 more goal than Suarez (not sure if shot include penalties or not).

In the PL no one seems to mention the fact that Wayne Rooney has 2 goals from 19 shot attempts. Danny Welbeck has 1 from 16. Defoe has 5 from 47. Gylfi Sigurðsson has 0 from 18. Papiss Cisse 1 from 17. Tevez has 4 from 29. Aguero 2 from 17. Mirallas 1 in 29. Fellaini 3 in 32. Hazard 2 in 20. Oscar 0 from 16. Torres 4 in 18. Mata 4 in 21. Cazorla 2 in 35. Giroud 1 in 26. Podolski 2 in 16. Rodallega 1 in 26.

Of the ones with more than 1 goal. Suarez scores a goal every 9.3 shots. Rooney every 9.5 shots. Defoe every 9.4 shots. Aguero 8.5 shots. Fellaini 10.67 shots. Torres unbelievably only needs 4.5. Mata needs 5.25. Podolski 8.

Hmm interesting. But i see that those that tends make long shots would end up looking very bad in this statistic. And the 2 with highest ratio of goals to shot were suarez and torres. These 2 players simmilar in a way that they dont make much long shots. Less tries hence higher goal ratio. And not sure if headers are counted because both liv and chelsea dont uses their flanks that much and rely more to short passes as compared to lets say totenham and united.
But one thing is suarez is nothing compared to ronaldo because ronaldo makes alot of shots. Headers outside the box basically everywhere. So his ratio is out if this world. My opinion la.

Thought the game yesterday was a bit scrappy, but I am very happy with the result. Here are a few talking points imo:

1. With the benefit of hindsight, Rodgers got the wrong formation I feel, the 3-5-2 formation was absolutely toothless. Only when Suso came on and he switched to the usual 4-3-3 did we look more dangerous. Kind of opposite with the Everton game, where we started 4-3-3, got outplayed then we switched to 3-5-2 to gain a measure of control of the midfield.

2. Joe Allen seems to be losing form in the last few games he played in, at the start of the season he hardly misplace any passes. Hope he gets back to form soon, and Lucas returns to help him out defensively.

3. Sahin is one player that I'm not sure what he brings to the team. Very quiet in most matches. I was very happy that we got him, but he has only been average so far apart from that game where he scored twice. Maybe it'll take a longer time for him to get back on to the form he had before he joined Real Madrid.

4. As mentioned by other posts, why on earth is Suarez celebrating alone? It is one of the most important goal in such a big game, I'll like to see more passion from the other players. Why celebrate with Carra only? Why not all celebrate together? Dissapointing really....

Im not sure how clear both evidence are you mind explaining hows the difference between both the evidence? What makes it a blatant lie?  All i know is jt denied the intention of his racists remark and that he only repeated what ferdinand has said to him, while suarez admitted of saying those words.

Hmm. Yeah to suarez def maybe its not in uruguay so maybe yes in britain. You know the african american in western countries are more sensitives towards these and too bad suarez wasnt in uruguay when he said it

I haven't seen it being mentioned but in my opinion, it wasn't even a goal. Suarez shoved Ramirez out of the way to win the header. That being said, Suarez is in magnificent form and if anyone deserves a goal, it is him.

though i think its a soft push but some ref/linesman might flag it as foul but it's a given the goal is allowed. after all we been victimized before.. its about time we get some decision in favour to us. lol

Lucas will lighten the burden of allen & sahin from defensive works..let them concentrate on forward pass..the front 3 will provide us quickplay,intelligent & creativity

True..what i mean is if really Suarez is sold in the future, the replacement has to be better.

No player gonna stay forever... But Suarez edy committed his future at Liverpool for now... He even mentioned the support he gets from rodger and the team is so united, i guess we can put the lone celebration to bed now..

I would rate Suarez and Ibra as very good player. If Suarez has support from the other team members, the whole team will be difficult to beat.
What Ibra told RVP and Stevie G to leave their "old" clubs is good advice, IMO. If a good player stays too long in one club, he may lose the "killer instinct". Look at RVP, moving from Gunners to ManU and with his as their main striker, as well as assisting the other players, ManU records of goals scored is tremendous.
