function might be the same but not speed. Class 10 indicate the minimum writing speed of the card is 10mb/s. Some Class can go up much higher than others. Sandisk is known of its much higher speed compared to same Class 10 card, eg. Kingmax. Not sure about Kingston though.

for contacts - if you have been using Google (i.e. Gmail) as your contact storage, once you sign into new phone (doesn't matter GB or ICS or JB), all your contacts will be sync into your new phone.

for sms, just use the free SMS Backup and Restore to backup in the old phone and restore in new phone.

nope, only using the stock Omega kernel. The smoothness is good enough for me.

if i am staying in KL, i will definitely take the cheapest option. But in the end i got to take SME set in JB coz not convenient to go all way up to KL if something wrong with the new phone. A few hundreds bucks more is still tolerable to me.

you are currently on Note contract? My DiGi Note contract supposed to end on Nov 10 too. But i broke it and ported to Maxis.

Maxis is much much better than DiGi in JB area, can easily get 2-5mbps. DiGi always cap it at 1mbps no matter where i go in JB.

I am using RM50 1.5GB mobile internet. And they just upgraded it to SurfMore 50 2GB. So I get 500mb more at the same price since yesterday. 2GB is more than enough for me with WiFi at home and office..

the bill shock is the main reason i ported to DiGi Smartplan when i first wanted to get a data line 2 years ago. Heard so many horror story about Maxis back then. But Maxis did improve their service recently by sending sms to notify users when a certain percentage of limit is reach. And now we can also use apps like Balance Checker to check the usage ourselves.

actually he can just add the msg in his signature and let interested ppl PM him. I did the same for the Sandisk 32/64GB bulk as advised by lady fruitie. In that way, it will not disrupt our discussion here too. Need to spare a thought to those not interested in the product - it is quite annoying to read those posts which are only relevant to those interested/joining but not related to Note II.
