okay i set the max port to 4096 and tcp and udp timeout to 120. gonna try downloading something. will keep you guys posted
oh and how do you see your connection in DD-WRT? as in download and upload speed? wanna setup QoS also.

Added on May 10, 2007, 2:16 pmtried downloading using utorrent. still a triangle status (no incoming connections). i have set a static dhcp to the pc and port forward range and port forward. but still no change as if the port forwarding does not work. did i miss something?

i am getting error from my router linksys saying can get ip add from ppoe server.... so i tried reset my modem and router... but still getting the same error...

further i try connect one of my pc straight to the modem the internet connection was ok...

What Wireless Security encryption do you guys use? I use WEP for a long time now and I start to think thats no good, so what should I use for my home network? WPA or WPA2? WPA2 also got Radius, shared key and etc type.

finally no frequent disconnected problem.  anyone can tell me what is going to happen actually?

I'm using linksys wag200g all-in-1 adsl modem before getting the wrt54g v2.2 and I always faced the disconnected problem frequently, at least 1 time per day if lucky but normally more than that, sometime even 2 or 3 times within 5 minute. at first, I think is tm problem and I called to the CS centre but they cant helped me much...asked me to do those silly checking. after getting the wrt54g router and flashed to dd-wrt, I experienced no disconnected problem. btw, I got the router on tuesday evening.

i think is 200MHz, after flashed to DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) mini - build 3932, it becomes 216MHz but i downclock it to 200MHz

I've just found out that without(DD-WRT rc24) , my internet speed is pretty fast..But then v24 rc 3 and rc 4 really slows down. We need to wait for their stable version..ack..It hogs up whenever you torrent

do you mean that after updating o RC4, your router perform that before?

you mean by press and hold the button behind the router? I only do restore to factory setting before and after flashing.

v23 SP2, tried v24 RC3/4 before but due memory leak, I flashed it to v23 SP2.

for the IP Filter Settings,

Both of the TCP Timeout & UDP Timeout, what does it mean if I increase or decrease its value?

erm... what about if changing these value will affect the BT speed?

I having issue playing dota. At 1st, the game is very smooth. But suddenly, i just got disconnection.
