Ipad Mini or iPad with Retina Display?, Hmmm...this one is tough to decide!

The size and the weight of the Mini makes it really good to hold and carry around but it lacks the Retina Display. The bigger iPad have nicer display but its a little too heavy. iPad mini and 4th gen isnt the same thing?
cause i didnt see any 4th gen ipad in any apple website..
4th gen ipad got A6x processor and iPad mini having just A5 processor ryte?
