Was watching YouTube, then the video lagged, and it just restarted. Only experienced once. On 4.2 Stock rooted now.

Need some opinion to clear my doubt.

I m planning to get a tablet, either nexus 7 or 10.
Let say, I m going for the nexus 7, but currently I m also a galaxy note user. Given the size of both the galaxy note and nexus 7 which the nexus 7 is a bit bigger, is it worth to grab the nexus 7 ?
What benefit can I get against the galaxy note ?

The N7 is very , very , very much more responsive and slicker, n very obvious better performer than the Galaxy Note. Battery life is easily 3 times that of the Note. You cannot compare between these 2 as one the Note is a smartphone which can make calls while the N7 cannot make calls. Dont think you can have one at expense of another
The N7 do not have a micro SD card and some might find it to be a disadvantage
Change your phone to NOTE 2 and it will be a perfect combo with the N7. You can easily use Note2 3g and use it as wifi hotspot and NOT worry about battery drain. Try using the NOTE as wifi hotspot and be prepared to have 30+ % drain/hour against merely 10% max on the Note 2,. NOt only that the NOTE will record very high temperatures using as hotspot - 40 to 48 degree C is common while is barely warm on Note 2 ( less than 40 degree C)

Updated my n7 to 4.2.1, now cannot install from playstore, error from server...

im same on 4.2 after upgrade, any solution?

delete your google account under setting...works for me

Go to setting/app / playstore clear cache n data. Restart tablet
If persists clear data Google services framework
If still fail. Delete Google account n key in again

I a newbie with smartphones with tablets.

I'm thinking of getting Galaxy S3 and Nexus 7. The S3 will be a mobile internet and wi-fi hotspot. The NExus 7 will be an e-reader.

Will this combo works well?

The S3 battery will exhaust at 30-35% per hour n phone will gets very hot above 45-50 degree C
Best is use Note 2 at 10% per hour n less than 40 degree C
