QUOTE(blog9217 @ Oct 22 2012, 01:01 PM) Normal if you have fb and those stuffs running background. Control your email refresh etc and you will see a better battery. However, if you are on stock, nothing much you can do. And, you should remember that smartphone battery can't last you a 3days straight... Unless you don't use QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 22 2012, 01:03 PM) Being pedantic here, but for heaven's sake, the proper contraction for Titanium is Ti and not the first 3 letters...... Same here. I am at home today... As I am having high fever yesterday. Instant mc. So mood kinda swing today QUOTE(Joker87 @ Oct 22 2012, 01:06 PM) Nope. New batteries do not need 8 hours. Charge it full enough. QUOTE(un_id @ Oct 22 2012, 01:17 PM) Been reading few pages in V4 then realized its already closed. Lol Actually most people waiting for sme set. Totally understand on this. If you see closely, next few weeks more will come. Trust me on this. Crazy fast. But the owner list yet to reach 100. QUOTE(blog9217 @ Oct 22 2012, 01:19 PM) If in email, go into email and select setting. You can change there like 5 minutes etc. For me I set 1 hour for yahoo and outlook. Gmail is push. Facebook same. Go to setting and choose. For fb I disable refresh. Manual refresh FTW. QUOTE(Cynox @ Oct 22 2012, 01:26 PM) i will PM you my bank detail when the list approaching MOQ. Want to do it one shot, saving time. No problem bro. Appreciate that. Curious Hahahaha...Of course original. It is from local authorised distributor. This is not my first bulk for microSD, did one for S3 few months ago. Also did some RMA for some of the unlucky ones. Can search my topics created before. Added on October 22, 2012, 1:42 pmHand ichy now. Just downloaded Hyper note. Wonder if wanna flash. So in love with ARHD now :luv: Added on October 22, 2012, 1:43 pm QUOTE(gouken @ Oct 22 2012, 01:34 PM) my personal observation after 2 weeks: lasts nicely a day for normal day-to-day use..for light usage (less time play with GN2, busy working on computer), 20-30% left over charge before sleep..for heavy usage, when i m out whole day, by evening (6-7pm) need to charge ady. so far, i had total 3 incidents where my phone inconveniently died when i'm out in the evening. Since there are 2 things that are always with me at all time (one is my phone, the other is my wallet), i carry an extra battery in my wallet (fit nicely since its not really that big or thick like a charger), I'm not so worry about battery life now. That's nice bro. Additional battery seems cool. Still thinking lo if want to invest into battery. Now just want to do it one step at one time. QUOTE(crazyissac @ Oct 22 2012, 01:51 PM) Try to clear cache and restart? If want to try new rom, try ARHD but again. Play with your wanam first XD QUOTE(gouken @ Oct 22 2012, 01:52 PM) ya, use it say for a month first and if no need no need to waste money, because everyone settings is diff, like if you always have a powerpoint most of the time (eg. office) or always driving with car-charger, i don't think the battery is necessary. for me, the 3 'embarrassing' incidents really warrants the purchase and also in a way a good example of having a phone with removable battery. Yeah...I have a car charger somewhere in my car...I hope Anyway, battery life seems okay for me. Can last me 1 full day (or close to it) is way more than enough. QUOTE(dallas316 @ Oct 22 2012, 01:52 PM) Not me...not yet at least. |

Let me see..
On about 3 hours now. Streaming Mix FM and Tune Radio until now. 85% battery left. Of course some web browsing from time to time as well. Added on October 22, 2012, 2:34 pmGuys, I am just curious (again). For those flashers, do you noticed that ARHD suddenly received a spike in users? First of all, Omega is leading prior before launching. Now, ARHD is catching up real close and not bad... Only haven't try is HyperNote. This post has been edited by nicregi: Oct 22 2012, 02:34 PM |

QUOTE(un_id @ Oct 22 2012, 02:38 PM) found this on XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1918008 o.O malfunction -.-"it says DO NOT USE SCREEN PROTECTOR as it will cause sensor malfunction. QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 22 2012, 02:39 PM) On omega forlast 2 days. So far so good, using just like stock(or bloaty according to uncle). Whole day ligt use still got abt 40% at midnight. Yeah. If you ask me, battery life between Omega vs ARHD = equal. Both last me about 23 hours daily.Wanam and HyperNote yet to try. However, like what uncle said, HyperNote could last longer as totally no bloatware. Omega if select Remove Bloatware could be as good as well. QUOTE(crazyissac @ Oct 22 2012, 02:39 PM) ARHD...That cos you have the widget setting something like that. Janji got that can d lo..For me, choose ARHD as it is closest to stock. Too much customization is boring |

QUOTE(merchant9 @ Oct 22 2012, 02:48 PM) Some of the more technical people in my office encourage me to uncheck the security settings to allow installation from non-Market source. Is this safe? 1. People usually do this to install...'ahem' apps. Not recommended if you ask me.2. Recommended if you know what you are doing. |

I myself also used to do that during s2 days and leading more towards a dev life made me understand it. Bad bad stuff.(1) is just retarded. installing custom apps released by developer in xda also considered as ehem? reinstalling apps using titanium backup is ahem?
