Hi! How about the battery use in one day??
*
my personal observation after 2 weeks: lasts nicely a day for normal day-to-day use..for light usage (less time play with GN2, busy working on computer), 20-30% left over charge before sleep..for heavy usage, when i m out whole day, by evening (6-7pm) need to charge ady. so far, i had total 3 incidents where my phone inconveniently died when i'm out in the evening. Since there are 2 things that are always with me at all time (one is my phone, the other is my wallet), i carry an extra battery in my wallet (fit nicely since its not really that big or thick like a charger), I'm not so worry about battery life now.

That's nice bro. Additional battery seems cool. Still thinking lo if want to invest into battery. Now just want to do it one step at one time. Haha
ya, use it say for a month first and if no need no need to waste money, because everyone settings is diff, like if you always have a powerpoint most of the time (eg. office) or always driving with car-charger, i don't think the battery is necessary. for me, the 3 'embarrassing' incidents really warrants the purchase and also in a way a good example of having a phone with removable battery.

@gouken:  I think you bought the battery with the desktop stand, right?  How much and where did you buy?  Thinking of investing in the battery+desktop charger combo since i think i will be using Note II for quite a while.
i got it from a fren working at samsung for RM170. you can get it from samsung shops at RM189. i saw a LYN seller here selling at RM180, posted there.

for those who yet to get a case, consider something that can helps absorb impact on the big surface of screen because that's the most expensive part (RM1-1.2K part) as you will carry this phone everywhere in your pocket, bags..all the other plastic parts are cheap to replace...

Bro, do you mean that the TPU sucks dirt and keeps it stuck to the phone body? Anything bad happening Note2 with TPU?
*
No no sorry not clear...what I was saying is there are some metal/hard silicone/aluminium case comes with tpu cushioning in the inside of the case to avoid scratches on the phone...the aluminium one I bought previously for my nexus dont have tpu, thats why scratched like nobody after a month of use as the aluminium rubbing on the phone in pocket.

Any casing got flip I dislike very distracting just imagine u holding the phone your grip is less, block your view,
*
The Samsung flip actually provides me with more grip because of the fabric material. Also, the flap that attached the phone part to the back cover provide extra surface for my finger to latch for further grip. Because of its thinness flipping and holding is effortless.

Anyway personal preference for individual but if you really dislike flip, you can help protect the screen by facing the screen towards your body every time you put it in the pocket. I have a fren with Note 1 cracked his screen by accidentally banging his pocket to the corner of a table when rushing to leave a restaurant. But this method is only advisable for those who hardly sweat tongue.gif
