That's why the 2 arrancars killed so many innocent people first before finding Ichigo. Then after the fight and injuring ichigo unexpectedly easily, they left and reported to Aizen that Ichigo is actually no thread.

Hiyori's walking machine rawks !!! Hahaha. I think I understand what the purpose of her machine is now. It's meant to test how long a person can continue walking on the machine before he runs out of reiatsu. That way, they'd know how long Ichigo can last against his hollow self, before he becomes tired. Once he reaches that point, and if he still hasn't won, then the vaizards would have dragged him back to reality, as they wouldn't want him to get eaten up by the hollow instead.
Now is it super ? or shitty ? haha.
