just talk to them... and said it warranty take note b4 clam just do the un-root thing and factroy reset... if they ask y factory reset..bcaus you got important constant in the phone

really? but the guy keeps insisting that i should have brought it back 3months ago.
i keep telling him that i noticed it right out of the box. he said that cannot claim warranty, but instead can only give discount for LCD/housing change

just mention to them as long we claim it b4 warranty over... they suppose warranty us 365 day from register date. we have the right to claim warranty due to manufacture defect within the period whether on the 1st day or on 364 days.. FYI make sure you dun have any dent on you phone..... the may said it user fault .. so claim as soon as possible(once you found out.. dun wait).

which outlet you went that do not allow warranty claim? and for the users that get warranty claimed, which outlet you guys went? then maybe he can go to another SC to claim warranty...

same plan from digi website but instead contract 2 years monthly data plan of RM88, they give discount RM30 each month means you are paying rm58 per month for 5 gig plan and the phone one time payment RM1099. Total one time payment RM1787.00 including deposit and phone.

the RM30 is not discount. it's ur upfront payment n got deducted every month. otherwise u shouldn't pay up to 1787 with the phone price is only 1099

just to inform that if your s3 lcd broken or scratches and you intend to replace it, it will cost you rm611....sob sob...i just changed mine...no choice, my s3 was just less than 3 months old

i went there too.

my phone is perfectly fine. just that small crack there that the guy refuse to let me claim warranty.

I think it is still a good deal, with 5gb of data. I've bought for rm1750 for titanium gray just for the phone and it was 3 weeks plus ago. And I am now still under celcom plan with no data. ( rm0.10 for every 10kb and yeah I know that is suck)

how it is not a discount? Instead of monthly rm88 i am now paying rm58 monthly. The extra RM688 besides the phone are deposit which they will deduct back to me monthly from the rm58 plus the telephone bill.

Managed to install Google Play Books, Magazines and Movie & TV apps on my unrooted S3 with a VPN connection. Surprisingly, when you try to browse or download books, tv or magazines with the installed app, google recognizes that the device is not US native and pops an error message that the app is not supported in your country - even with the VPN connection.

To get around this error, with your VPN connection, google 'books on google play' and open with chrome (and not the play store app), you should now be able to view, buy or download books, magazines and movies and buy them into your device.
