wireline is something like they run their tool inside the drilled well with steel wire to get the resistivity, type of formation...something like that. i heard that schlumberger no longer wants a degree holder as they have to pay more...not 100% confirmed

I'm not happy at all from day 1....i never say that I'm happy.....my job is so tough i can consider i'm underpaid. compared to the casing/wellhead/cementing crews, they do much less job and get better pay...i mean better is a whole lot better....do you know what mudloggers do?

no matter what, i really do not recommend anybody to join MUDLOGGING, just let this sector dies as well as the bullshit management no matter what mudlogging company it is

I was with Geoservices once, despite being called Geocircus, I also call it GeoTAMBI and GeoNEPAL if you know what i mean...... the most filthy job in any sector, the lowest pay and the most MF career one would find.....avoid GeoTAMBI at all causes....TAMBITAMBITAMBI......MF TAMBI.....You retards who is still with geotambi, do not pretend to your friend that your post is on top of the world, you are actually below the sewer system !

Try applying for Offshore Geo-Survey, my wife is working there at the moment. The office is at the Lembaga Getah Malaysia building, Jalan Ampang in front of Petronas Twin Tower. Heard that they are looking for freshies with Civil Eng, Geology and Geophysics degree ! If you're willing to work offshore, you're in.....
