we know that it's not tm's fault that this happened but tm can help fix it by rerouting the connection through other route.
TM use that problematic route because it normal to use a co-own cable with Telstra to connect to Telstra hosted server. It use longer route and more hops but it will be more cost effective than using shorter route with lesser hops but they need to rent it.

BTW i just ran a ping test to AU server and it look great now. Dunno if they fixed the line already or what but now im averaging 130ms with no packets loss.

if you're not planning on using steam wallet i think better cont using SOE standalone launcher.
i had a bad experience where my steam corrupted and after reinstalling steam it forced me to redownload planetside2 again.
the steam version that been downloaded was an old version thus need me to patch it for more than 1gb.

you can follow and ask around others in-game if u need to learn more stuff.
there also lots of useful youtube vids to watch.

if you got shot from behind most definitely an ally.
in a game of massive battle with friendly fire stay on, it hard to stay alive.
some of them are not that forgiving and will look for you for revenge even if it's accident.
i had my MBT C4-ed by an ally during a battle with enemies because he tried to repair me from behind while i put on reverse to take cover.

the green circles at bases indicate that you are allow to spawn there.
there are also others spawn point in green like sunderer (the vehicle that look like a bus) and spawn beacon (if you're in a squad and your squad's leader set it up).
you can also do a squad deploy (have a 3min cd IINM) if you're in a squad and also instant action for a random drop into a middle of battle (the one that heavily contested).

i havent seen TROL zerg for a week.

this 4th factioner crap can harm the game in a long term.

things that happen when NC became the top faction last time is still the worst.

try to understand that we are playing in a big ass map that can support up to 2000 players.

the minimum requirement provided might only for rendering map without all the explosions and players.
make sure your machine is more than the recommended requirement provided by the developer.

for open and active outfit try join RSNC or AG7.
just join our public squad and state your intention to join us.
they'll assess you 1st but it's easy to be accepted.
just follow orders and jump on the the teamspeak you'll be surely accepted.

i still wont recommend you to join NC TR0L yet since all of the top management are just alt chars for their main VS.
but if they want to play NC seriously and made it their main char, they'll be a good team since they're quite active.

if you're using steam please do not use steam files integrity check. use the SOE launcher files' integrity check instead.
most probably the version in steam's database is different from SOE launcher.
i had to re-download 2 times in past before i read about this. Now changed to standalone SOE launcher.

I always love a being a defendor in a 3 ways fight. Bcoz there will never be any good inter-faction alliance. People will always try to sabotage the other. Capture points will always change color. And as a defender that mean there are more targets to shoot at.

Lots of thing going on for me now and i dont even have time to play games. Can only update the client and read about it now.
From what i read, SOE just fckup the client badly from the recent patch. With warpgate losing the shield and opposing factions can party in there. LOL. sound fun nonetheless.
Really hope to get back to ps2 but not gonna happen for me at least for a week or 2 more. damn miss something interesting here.
