I have similar situation as u and they even called me on thursday say coming tues cannot fly. It really spoilt my mood for vacation vmad.gif
Before that no one calling me on details until one week before departure i called to follow up. Sigh hopefully i can get my refund next week
Suppose fly on 12th but the group cancel and pass me to the 16th Nov group then only like thurs called me said cancel also.

Btw above the staff that scolded me is Ohara the one who helped you before, scolded me in front of another customer scared that uncle out! Scold like those aunty marah marah in pasar. And the so call another boss besides Mr.Lai name Edriaan somemore say we are not the reasonable customer. They are really sucks. BAN them forever!!! Mr.Lai also always hard to contact one.

These people gives their customers nightmare not only on the aspect of services but being unethical as well.

Their boss, Lai Mun Wai on the appearance seem like an honest guy who i guess this particular agency is really an agency which is looking to bluff their customers outright!!!

Rest assured that they will not see the last of me! I will bring this up with MATTA.

Kindly recommend some well-known travel forums for me to post this warning.

You are another victim of that. Till now i haven't get back my refund as the staff told me the boss was away to bring tour. Will follow up with them on Monday to get the cheque issue to me and hope it wont bounce.

One of the staff even scold me "stupid". I already bring the issue up to Ministry of Tourism and my friend plan to lodge a report to Tribunal in case we dont get our money back.

Hope the ministry will take it seriously and take back their license.

Keep calling them and try to talk to the boss directly. Normally i will straight drive to their office straight in the morning once i know their boss is in although i'm from PJ area. I already waited for a week. Last week the staff told me the boss Mr.Lai went to take tour so no one issue the cheque. Today I called Mr.Lai he said he will check with account and call me back and as usual no return call. I wonder those big companies so call their customers are true or not. Maybe they just bought their services once and no more already or maybe it is only advertisement trick and the info is not true.

Extreme vacation is really EXTREMELY disappointed me. Spoil my holiday plan. Hope the ministry will take back their license and no one will be the next victim

Then you better get back your refund and book with another agency if you still want to go to holiday. Good Luck. I am still waiting for my refund. As like ur case, 12 Nov called me said 16th trip cancel. That time we already applied leaves he tot we no need to work one....Really damn piss off.

Hi trnsfrmr,

Can you give me the contact person and number of the person you spoke to in the ministry? Perhaps if few people complain the same thing then they will take action.

You need to keep chasing and being persistent in getting your payment back. That will mean that you need to sacrifice some of your time to go to their office to demand for cheque. It's sad that we as a customer have to do that....

After first visit to their office, i dont dare to go alone, and hard to get fren to go along everytime. Coz one of the staff, i think is Ohara, scolded me "stupid" and very fierce and almost want to bit me and my fren if her colleague didn't drag her into the her room. Is like a gangster office. The I dont think the main reason is not enough people. I suspect the trick use cheaper price to attract people to sign up and get all our money to do other things or roll and roll on other biz or things or pay other "hutang" then tell customer not enuff ppl cancel the trip and delay the refund!

Talk so fast on the phone and so rush to put down the phone. This is called "irresponsible"! How to be successful like that?
When I talked to their staff (Stephanie). She also said she knew Mr Lai's st*p*d attitude.

It's been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for my refund.
This Monday I called them and Mr Lai said he will only issue cheque this Friday.
Why FRIDAY??!!! Why cannot today???!!!
I better get my cheque this week or else I will make report.

To make myself feel better, I signed up with another agent (Hello Holidays). Their office is just a few shops away from Extremevac and very good service.

Reminder to all:
PLEASE AVOID EXTREMEVAC AT ALL COST! NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED, NOT HONEST, NOT RESPONSIBLE & NOT PROFESSIONAL!!!

I hope they close shop..less people get into trouble..

Oh you are in the same ship as me. I was suppose to join the 12th Nov but then Mr.Lai said not enough ppl move us to the 16th Nov. The like you also 10th called me and said the trip cancel coz not enough ppl. Same reason the big group of ppl didn't made the full payment on time. Exactly why never tell earlier? I told them the same thing what normally the agency will do. Mr.Lai said outside they all desparate your money but we dont and asked not to worry on this. WTH!!!

How much u book with Hello Holidays? When u go to Korea, my fren cannot take leave oredi so we cant book with another agency at a later date. I also check the JR Vacations agency which is few shops away from their Extremevac. I didn't notice there is a hello holidays. The JR Vacations also very professional and good service.

And I'm like you 2 weeks no refund and said the cheque will be issued this Friday. I think sure "tak jadi". shwuey, you better don't waste your time to go to the office. Called before you go. I already report to Ministry of Tourism the following Monday and my fren is filing the complaint to the Tribunal as well. Hope the minsitry will take back their license and close shop.

My fren left a msg in their fb, not sure which site based on the 2 sites you guys provided yesterday nite.

Asking them to return our money. Later in the morning when i check the website in my office, i dont see the pics and msg anymore but early morning i saw it.

I am not sure the current running website is the one my fren left the msg but they remove the pics and the msg or the one that was gone.

I dont think I will go to their office tmr as no one called me to confirm. Just the Mr.Lai said tmr only and he always fong fei kei one. The stefanie also abit useless i cant find your booking form yet but I will call u once i find it. No call at all. vmad.gif

Ya we are customer still need to call them everyday to follow up, they are the one suppose to do so. Really hate this agency.

I will call tmr to see if the cheque is ready or not wont spend time to go there but get nothing.

See as expected. I called this morning 11am, the account gal Stefanie answered, she said Mr.Lai never pass any cheque on the korea tour group refund to her. I asked her to check with Mr.Lai but also no return call. I will call again later.

Wah issue cheque also never issue the current date one? You should get him put the date let say take last friday or saturday the date on the same day

Hope your cheque wont bounce.

I called him, and scolded him said last friday to come to pick up but never issue and he only said will check with account.

Really headache. Anyhow my fren already filed the complaint to tribunal, if he still give excuse to issue the cheque then will claim thru the tribunal no point wasting time and petrol to go their office. Dare not go there alone as i told u before the Ohara so fierce later bit me if she sees me alone there

Anyone know Lai and Edriaan already release from the lockup? Im sure the shop definitely is close now. Call the num it just rings out

If we know Lai release from the lockup then we can go after him if he is still inside it is hard to chase the refund

So have you report to tribunal and attend the hearing already? Any more updates about this Lai release from lockup?

I just attended the hearing in the tribunal but postpone to 17th as the procedure has some minor issue coz we din get back the yellow card of the registered letter to the extremevac.
