ok they were in penang, tesco greenlane area an hour ago.
i suspected it is a scam so i decided against paying the full $399 but paid $60 booking fees so i can investigate it out 1st.

apparently my suspicions are true. i took a pic of the guy by the name of johan and took down his mobile number as well.

anyone know how to go about reporting this to the authority? $60 ain much but these guys arent getting away either

thin malay guy with short spiky hair.
he has no facial hair mustache/beard.
he wears a silver bracelet or bangle on his right hand and a watch on his left hand. he has a few other malay guys with him and 1 malay girl which wears a tudung. which i vaguely remember their appearances.

they can barely speak in english and only converse in malay language though.
