OMG. So many people had the same experience with Extremevac.

Here's my story.

My Korea trip is supposed to be on 16-Nov.

3 weeks before 16-Nov, I called them to confirm if everything is ok and ask for flight & hotel details.
The Miss Ohara said nt so early, they are planning for October trip.
Will only inform us early November.

Come on..any agency will tell you that you can't book flight last minute.
Usually the tour group will have to be finalized 1 month before departure. Fine.

1 week before the trip, before I apply for leave, I call them again to confirm.
Miss Ohara said the tour is confirm, don't worry.

Suddenly on the 10th, just 5 days before the trip, Mr Lai called and said the trip cancelled coz not enough people.
Kononnya, the one big family in the tour group didn't respond to them until last minute.
I was thinking, since you know last minute cannot do anything already, why didn't you tell me earlier?
At least I can still find another agent and make my trip in Nov!
I am down, sad, and angry. You know that kind of desperate feeling when you are all ready to have fun and suddenly it's all ruined??!

And the worst thing is the st*p*d Mr Lai didn't even said sorry.
Talk so fast on the phone and so rush to put down the phone. This is called "irresponsible"! How to be successful like that?
When I talked to their staff (Stephanie). She also said she knew Mr Lai's st*p*d attitude.

It's been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for my refund.
This Monday I called them and Mr Lai said he will only issue cheque this Friday.
Why FRIDAY??!!! Why cannot today???!!!
I better get my cheque this week or else I will make report.

To make myself feel better, I signed up with another agent (Hello Holidays). Their office is just a few shops away from Extremevac and very good service.

PLEASE AVOID EXTREMEVAC AT ALL COST! NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED, NOT HONEST, NOT RESPONSIBLE & NOT PROFESSIONAL!!!

I hope they close shop..less people get into trouble..

You know what? During MITM in Mid Valley, I already saw them scolding one customer.
I should have know they are no good company.

I called the Mr Lai just now.
He said, "ok ok I'll check with my girl!"
WTH!! Can't you just prepare the cheque and call us??!!

I also called and stephanie said the Mr Lai cannot find the booking form and left office.
WTH..i already went to their office before and stephanie even photostated the booking form from me.

He must be lying so I called Mr Lai's hp and he didn't pick up.
I then sent him an sms. I told him to call me back, if not I am going to report to ministry of tourism.
He called me and said he'll go to office tomorrow and issue the check.
He asked me to sms the total amount and booking#.

Let's see if he does anything tomorrow.

i got my check already.
have to go all the way to KL and show him the booking form.
since he give so many excuses, i make him give no excuse.

but the check only can bank in this friday.
hope everything goes well with the check.

u call the office around noon and ask whether the boss is there.
if yes, go and find him. bring all the receipts and booking form.

this is too much..obviously is a SCAM!!!

everybody in lowyat, a reminder NEVER EVER GO TO EXTREME VACATION!
everyone knows that trip cancellation is normal, but you have to inform customer earlier and refund on time.
this is very fishy that they promote cheap travel packages, get all the money, cancel trip, no inform, no refund until when forced to.

i really don't know what is in the Mr Lai's mind.

i hope ng yen yen is aware of this issue and get him to close his business.

btw, good job psksk for bringing this to higher level!
he should get punishment for getting us in trouble.

I hope MOT make sure they pay back to everyone and find out what they are up to.
And MOT also have to make sure this doesn't happen at other tour agent.

anybody here made police report?
any results? what did the police say?

i called MOT today and they said they are only responsible to close down his business but cannot help us for the refund.

can the police help in this case??

i advise you to make police report and also report to consumer tribunal asap.
Cheras Parliament Secretary (Mr Luo) will help us on the rest.

btw, what we can do right now is report police & consumer tribunal and have them to meet in hearing.

my hearing is also on 17th Jan..haven't receive yellow card yet.
did anyone turn up during your hearing?
