Technically, it's not a scam
it's just the typical membership like vacation club

if you managed to utilized the full package, then it's worth the cost, and you'll save some
but unfortunately, there are too many hidden T&C where majority of the members won't be able to fully utilize the perks, hence wasting monies, and opting out early also will have some heavy penalties, hence VC has gain a nasty reputation these days as being a scam.

Not helping are the salesman/salesgirls trying too hard to sell you the package, same old free hotel stay as bait for you to sit thru the 2 hours torture of sales talk, and the same old pressure tactic of special price for special you for today only, swipe card now or never. A lot of young couples are easy prey to this.

btw, TS, those hotels you listed are some well known hotels under the same group, not some shady hotels.


Almost every month I'll received an invitation to those VC roadshow promising free hotel stays,
I was a hotelier, so those cheap tricks doesn't work on me, those so called "free hotel stay" usually comes with tonnes of T&C to make it difficult for you to utilize the free stay
typical T&C are non public/school holidays, weekday only, and required very long advance bookings like few months before your actual stays, and they'll have the right to cancel your stay last minute as well.
